      Pillow-talk... :-)

Have just bought a new pillow and wondered if anyone else have improved their dreamrecall and lucidity after changing pillows..?

I've now got one of those ergonomic numbers that is good for the neck and looks like a B on its back. I got the chepo version in foam, but since the pillow was called The Dream Pillow I just had to get it. Love sleeping on it, I move less around at night and on the first night I got lucid 2 times - but only at the very end of dreaming and I woke up right after.

This morning I really had a lucid dream; in it I was on my way to the bathroom when I suddenly thought 'oh no, not another bathroom dream with blocked toilets and what-have-you!' Realized I was dreaming and tried breathing through my pinched nose (check), the fingers through the palm of the hand thingy (check) and I started spinning. What happend next is between me and my maker, but I'm pretty sure the new pillow had something to do with all this.

And I've picked up so many helpful hints on this page; mint-tea before bed really helps my dream recall, and vitamin B6 clears my head (and is great for my nails...) - maybe someone will find it helpful to switch pillows..?

I dunno...I like a pillow to be a little softer, usually. Sometimes I even go without one, because it feels like my head is raised too much, and it puts a strain on my neck. I've always seen ads for those kinds of pillows but never actually tried one.

As far as lucidity, I haven't noticed a difference in whether I use a pillow or not or what kind of pillow it is. Maybe I should try one of these and be surprised?
