No worries. Keep trying to remember throughout the rest of the day. Keep it in the back of your mind, and it might come back to you. Let this be motivation to get lucid again tonight. Make up for the lost dream

When I was starting out I remember I could only remember only little fragments of my dreams. Every night I try and dream recall it just gets better and better. Once you become lucid in a dream it will be hard to forget in the morning lol.

Yeah your random bits of your dream should go straight down on paper, you gotta never assume you will remember, we are made to deactivate our experiences from reality so its very easy to forget when your awake, unless you have total focus.
I like to put as much down as i can but that can get very time consuming sometimes so i will put main cues, then write it out in full later in my dream journal, sometimes even picking up on new thing or too or even another dream. A small sketch can sometimes be very helpful too.
      Good luck

lmao! nicce. they say you should write down everything including textures you see and stuff like that. It's a buummer to wake up and write the novels that are my dreams lol but then I read them and I'm like OHHH YEAH! that was awesome lol. its worth it
