yes, I would think that children tend to have them often.
Most of my earlier LD's were nightmares.

I think that if a child would figure out that they're dreaming, they'd have very good control, because they have imaginations and easily beleive that what they want to happen will. In that way, yes. But before control comes actually realizing that you're dreaming. Without that, then the control can't happen. I beleive that it would be harder for a child to gain lucidity in the first place, but if they do, I'd say that there is a good chance that they'd be able to make stuff happen. Once a certain child gains lucidity a couple of times, then I think that they could do great things with lucidity.

It may, in my opinion, be easier for teens and adults to attain lucidity, but they are less likely to do good at first, and may need to work at THAT harder then a child would.

      So, overall, no.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Yeh I had many nightmares when I was young (Dam they where so scary I can still remember them vividly from when I was six)

Nice answer so basically your saying that if children manage to get lucid they would have really good control. But an adult may need to work harder but they have a better idea of what they need to do to become lucid.

I'm just curious because I used to have lucid dreams when I was younger (but I'm only in my teens so its probably easier to remember) I always thought everyone had these dreams until I asked someone and they had never had one. I guessing it comes naturally to some and others have to work harder at getting it.

I don't think it makes a difference. Just a matter of imagination and dedication.

yea I had natural ones once in a while. Now that I practice I get much more. If I never practiced lucid dreaming or came to dream views, I probably would have even less.
Kids generally have more lucid dreams and more vivd dreams because they haven't been told by people yet too focous on school and friends and that dreams are not important.

I had severel lucid dreams when I was a child, but just a couple, and they were very low lucidity. I distinctly remember locking myself into the bathroom, trying to fly, and knocking over a large shelf. Really, I never had that many.

I've always been able to vividly remember my dreams, though, and I still can.

Yes I remember one lucid dream when I was very young.
I was in my garden when I suddenly became lucid. I then summoned Ash from Pokemon (ye ye I liked Pokemon when I was younger ). I summoned a water gun and we had a water gun fight. Not the most interesting dream but I still remember it -_-

Anyway thanks for the interesting posts
