      waking up after every dream

I've had slight insomia for some time but it was always had the kind where I find it hard to fall asleep at night. But now this is changing and i wake up multiple times a night after my dreams end.

I always wake up just after a dream of mine ends. In ways this is good because they are almost always fresh in my mind and i can write them down in great detail, but this is very irritating because it takes me anywhere from 5 minutes to a half an hour to fall back asleep. (And this happens up to six times a night)

My question is, is there anything i can do to prevent me from waking up after every dream OR is this a good thing because i can record up to six dreams a night?

I have the eact same problem. Unfortunately, I've been this way my whole life, so I have no advice about how to sleep through the night. I have slept through the night about once or twice in my life that I remember. The longest I normally sleep is like 3-5 hours. It also takes me a while to fall back asleep, especially after a really vivid dream.

In a way, you're lucky because if you WILD or MILD, you already WBTB naturally, which gives you that many chances every night to try your techniques. All I can really tell you is, give yourself about 10 hours total to devote to sleeping every night, so that even if you have a hard time falling back to sleep a few times, you'll still get enough sleep.
