      Reality check questions

Alright, I have been doing RCs for a while, but i still has just got one out of 10 LDs using RCs. So heres a few questions regarding Reality checks:
      1. How many LDs have you got because of RCs?
      2. Which RC do you recommend the most?
      3. How much space is it between your RCs?
Hopefully can you understand the third question.
      I hope you answer soon.

      1. I havn't got a LD from doing a reality check inside the dream but reality checks make you aware that you could be dreaming so I imagine that most DILDs are from reality checks though you may not actually do it inside the dream.

      2. Most people use multiple RCs at one time as it makes you check more than the one time inside the dream where you might just dismiss it or it might not work (in one of my LD's, my hand looked pretty much normal except from when I looked at it really close. This is how I do my reality checks as an example.
      Spoiler for Reality check technique:

      3. Most people recommend 1 hour between them but do it as often as you can. Remember to not make it so much of a habit that you just do it automatically and without thinking about it though.

      1- I've lost count. A lot.

2- This depends on the person. The nose pinch RC and sticking my finger through my palm work best for me, but everyone is different.

3- I do a reality check anytime I see something surreal, or any time dreaming crosses my mind. This could be hours apart or just several minutes, it doesn't really matter. Sometimes it helps to do multiple reality checks at once, though, as Dying_Dignity said.

      1. none of my lucids have resulted in me doing a reality check, i always just realize that im dreaming
      2. i plug my nose, look at my hands and look at my surroundings.
      3. i think i RC about every 30 min or so, its really become an everyday routine for me since ive been doing it for about a year

reality checking is very important, even though it doesnt always result in you becoming lucid that way, it just helps with your awareness in everyday life which transfers over to the dream world and causes you to have spontaneous awareness causing you to become lucid, its also good to follow suit with a couple RC's to stabilize the dream

      1. As a child, I kind of did reality checks before I knew what RCs really were. So, if you count those, almost all. (which is a lot.)

      2. This one is really up to you. Try for yourself.

      3. I'm not use what you mean by this, but I aim for about ten RCs a day at least.
      Bollocks.

1.) Most of my lucid dreams have been induced because of a RC.

      2.) Looking at my hands.

3.) It depends. I would say 1-20 per day.

      1. 1, as that is the amount of Lucid Dreams I have had so far.
      2. I recommend the Nose reality check (Plug your nose, exhale through and if you can't, you're awake and if you can breathe with your nose plugged, you're dreaming)
      3. As often as posssible, just don't do it every second, otherwise you may find yourself out of breath on the floor

1.A great deal of my lucid dreams have reslted from RCs, but I can't quite list how many exactly.

      2. Well, I would recommend doing more than one Rc, roughly three or four. As others have mentioned, different Rcs work better than others for different people. The ones I like to do however, are the ones were you attempt to breath with your nose pinched, counting all of your fingers, and the last one I do is merely a memory check where I try to recall the previous events that took place or why I ended up where I am.

      3. I don't really have a set schedule for when I rc. I mainly test reality when something seems out of the ordinary or I've zoned out or forgot what I was doing previously.
Lucid dreaming makes for a wonderful night's play.
