I tried a kind of successful wild last night but i got too caught up in my dream which wasn't lucid. I dreamed that there was a war and an invasion happend , i think i dreamed that dream because of day resedue, or whatever you call it that the wild tutoral or some tutoral spoke of. I heard something war related on the news yesterday, any way, my question is, first i could've become lucid in last night's dream but fear overcame me and i could achieve lucidity, so, how can you avoid getting too involved in a dream, so it can become lucid? There was just too much action in that dream, and i didn't have time to reality check or see my dream sign. I was too involved in following other dcs who were running and hiding, it was like it was a war movie. |

I dont think you can avoid becoming too caught up in a dream. If it seems real and you do not realise you're dreaming then of course you are going to get caught up in it! Sometimes though, if the dream is really bad, this can work in a positive effect for me where i begin to question if i am dreaming out of pure desperation and despair. |

Yeah you're right about that being a dream sign, i guess i need more practice in catching my dream signs, there are new ones being created all the time, my fear in dreams is the main thing that keeps me from being lucid, i get lucid dreams 2 to 3 times a week but, sometimes fear and what dcs say either prevents me from becoming lucid, or makes me loose lucidity, thanks for the suggestions. |
