Smile PLEASE help me attain lucidity!

I can't seem to find my niche.

I have excellent dream recall. I remember some 2-3 dreams a night easy if not more. Last night I recorded 6 different dreams.

I don't have many dreamsigns. Mainly a time-pressure feeling. I'm either late for something or in a hurry to finish something or get somewhere before something bad will happen...or so it seems(feels)

Last night I dreamt I was late for work. But the roads getting to work were covered in ice. Making it unable to get traction and move anywhere. I watched as the clocked ticked...and I thought I was going to get fired for arriving late (time pressure)

I do reality checks and have been for some time. I tell myself at night to have lucid dreams, I've practiced setting my alarm 5-6 hours after sleep and trying WILD's.

I just can't seem to break through for some reason. I've gotten close a couple times but never a FULL BLOWN LD which I'm striving for.

Any ideas? Has anyone tried that CAT method I've been reading about? Doesn't seem that easy on the body so I haven't followed through with it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Have you tried visualizations before you go to sleep? seeing yourself in a dream and becoming lucid the way that you want to , ie from RC?

If you have a lot of dreams where time is an issue, I would do RC that work around the time, ie read the clock a few times and if it changes then you know you are dreaming.

Try incorp the visualizations that you do before bed with the feeling of being late, really focus on that feeling and then do a RC (in your minds eye) and see yourself becoming lucid.

Do this for a few nights and really feel what it would be like and I would guess that you are going to be a lot closer then you are now.

For a lot of people when they are in the state that you are in, they are not always doing RC with as much attention as they should they check the time and are like, yup im awake no big deal.

With RC you should really look for a reason why you are awake or not, dont get into the habit of just knowing. When you really look you activate a part of your brain that forces awareness, and when you do this in a dream you will be lucid.

Let me know if this helps, I can help you more if you wish but try this for a few days.

^The SILD method worked for me 2 days after trying it. I'm now experimenting with the B6 vitamin.

I'm sure you have many more dream signs that you're not aware of. Are you doing RC's regularly around the clock? If so, sometimes it's best to just take a break from them altogether, you'll be surprised that it can spark a LD.

It takes patience and time. Keep working at it.
