Drugs and lucid dreaming rarely work well together. I would advise not trying to gain lucidity in that manner. A clear and logically thinking mind is your best tool to gain lucidity.

marijuana will weaken your attempts (unfortunately) as far as i know - not sure about the hallucinogens - dreaming has always been the last of concerns after a strong trip.

I usually smoke marijuana in the weekends, it completly makes me unable to remember or maybe even have any dreams at all, this usually persists for 2-3 days after I have smoked it. Though I read about a certain type of weed (haze) is dream enhancing, but I have yet to test this out for myself.

As far as some other drugs I am not sure but I feel as seeker does in general.
And as far as smoking pot. I would go out on a limb and say it is fact that it reduces dream recall. From what I have read and testimonials from those who smoke it even egree.
