I have about the same sleep pattern as you, and my dream recall is pretty good, so I'll offer some advice. If you don't already, start keeping a dream journal. Whenever you wake up (morning or during the night), write down any dreams you can remember, or even pieces, or single details. Anything. If you don't have time to do it in the morning before school, at least try to do it during the night, and in the morning, narrate your dreams in your head, as if you were going to write them down. Also, when you're going to sleep, focus on dreaming. If you're having particular trouble with recall, focus on that. I find that the more distracted I am before going to sleep, the worse my recall is. Lastly, get enough sleep. The best time to remember dreams in between 6 and 8 hours of sleep. If you're getting less, you're in shorter, less intense REM periods.
