      Second WILD :) Another question.

So this morning I managed my second lucid dream through WILD. I've tried all the methods and WILD is the only method that has worked for me. This is my second WILD in one week so I feel as though I've hit a jackpot!

Thing is, the last time I tried and succeeded I was hungover...and this time I was hungover again (I know what you're thinking, this guy's got an alcohol problem, I don't, I'm a student and lead a somewhat *ahem* active social life). Anyway, do you think that the fact I've only had success so far was when I was hungover could turn into a problem in which it will be the only way I can achieve lucidity. Furthermore, why do you think I have only had success when I am hungover? I guess I could be incredibly relaxed, but my mind is absolutely not focused when I am. The WILD today was more intentional than last weeks (which was accidental and I just went with it).

So what do you guys think?

(Because I'm so excited getting lucid dreams right now, when I get one I tend to rush about in my dream rather than take it steady, I think this is why a lot of the time I'm not able to control my dream properly...I tried a few things (I successfully ran through my mirror), I tried to see if I could will my friend to be behind my door to no avail, and I tried to run and jump to fly but didn't really do much. I recall doing a reality check upon sitting up in my bed (pulling the finger which succeeded). The last thing I remember was I hijacked a car, but then I ran away for some reason...fun fun fun!

Have you tried doing it without a hangover?

Yeah maybe it was because you were more relaxed about it, like you said. Try staying just as relaxed when you're sober, that's one of the biggest keys to having a successful WILD. Congrats on the LDs too, sounds like you're on a roll. They'll get easier as you go on too

Thanks This WILD seemed a lot easier than the last, I think because I knew I was capable of doing it.

Hmm thats interesting and maybe worth taking a look at.

Of course I don't recommend getting drunk to have a lucid dream. It wouldn't be great for your health.

Gonna have to say I agree with you on that one. Gonna carry on trying to see if I can achieve WILDing whilst under normal circumstances.

Would you please tell us what technique you used. Was it motionlessness, focus, counting or nothing ?

Although if you are naturally hungover from a night of fun then maybe you should attempt a WILD.
