The first several times I took *Galantamind* it worked for me amazingly well. I would wake up after about 4 hours of sleep, take the capsule, and go directly back to sleep. That way by the time it kicked in I was already asleep and dreaming, and became lucid instantly. It worked like a charm and I would be lucid at times for up to 4 hours...it was almost excessive. However once I realized that this wonderful drug would take me to lucid wonderland, it stopped working as effectively, because I would find that I would be took excited when I woke up to take the capsule that I was unable to fall asleep before it kicked in. And there is the kicker. Because if you don't fall asleep and aren't dreaming by the time this supplement kicks in, you are going to have a really really difficult time sleeping for the rest of the night because it works like a stimulant. Some nights when that would happen to me, I would wake up and take the capsule, then try to go to bed. The excitement about having the lucid dream kept me awake though. Then I would spent the next 3 or 4 hours fighting with the drug trying to let me get to sleep...and I would be in and out of hypnagogia several times and maybe a short lucid here or there...but it was nothing like how it used to work in the beginning. I spent several nights like that, fighting to get to sleep and dream, when the drugs and my own anticipation of dreaming kept me awake. I decided to give it a rest and pick it back up in a few weeks hoping that I wouldn't have the same problem. Well I still had the same problem. Again, the key is just getting to sleep as quickly as you can after taking the supplement. It only takes about 20 minutes to kick in. So the window is short, I wonder if something like melatonin would help. I'll probably try that. Anyways hope that was some help. |
