I'll go all the way :p

But i am pretty sceptical towards supplements, i believe lots of it is just placebo effect, though i haven't really looked into it so...
I do think that i might buy a novadreamer someday...
But first there's still to much to be learned without the aid of devices or supplements!

It seems like I am on the border of something great, though.
If I could get past my fears of WILD, I am sure I could have awesome dreams.
I am kinda afraid of false awakenings - I have had quite a few nightmares which involve me "waking up" and then finding that something is freakily wrong.
I didn't experience HI when I tried WILD, I think because I was focused on my vision. But aural hallucinations are scary. The music in my daydream was interesting while it lasted, but the clock making guitar strums each second freaked me out.

And, when I opened my eyes and moved, I felt dizzy, like I was fainting or sinking into the floor. This scared me, because I though "What if I actually faint".

Sorry to be such a whiner. I am just a n00b when it comes to dreams and nightmares.
Some people just really don't like the hallucinations, there's nothing wrong with that!

The sinking feeling is actually a really good sign. I got the sinking feeling once; the first time I tried to WILD. It was super close, but I got woke up by the BF.

The vibrations are also a really, really good sign that you're transitioning into a dream. You should definitely do a reality check when the vibrations stop.

Everytime you fail a WILD, do a reality check. You may be surprised to find out you haven't failed it at all

Also, with false awakenings, some people do reality checks as soon as they wake up. Helps reduce the chance of FA's getting missed.

As for me... I won't do supplements I don't mind EILD-based things like induction mp3's, subliminal messaging and the like, but I have a strong preference for teaching myself how to LD with my own skills and know-how. Because then, I can take it with me, whereever. I never have to worry about it getting lost or damaged (save for car accidents or what have you).

I'll try any of the natural methods, and I'll sacrifice sleep, but only on the days where I don't have to work...

Oh! Cool. It's reassuring to know that I was on the verge of dreaming.
Now that I think about it, it's stupid to think I'll have a non-lucid FA, because that's the whole point of WILD, right? You are aware it's a dream... cool, so nothing to worry about.

WILD here I come! I ain't gonna let some noisy musical clock freak me out.
No wonder you have 261 thanks. You're so helpful, like a dream guide in real life.

I got as far as training vigorously and that seemed to suffice. No need to sacrifice any further.
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

If you actually do faint, then it's called falling asleep. You managed to fail at a WILD because you didn't want to fall asleep. I envy you. If that was why I was failing my WILD attempts, I'd be a regular in no time! You can't WILD if you're afraid to fall asleep. In fact, if you're afraid to fall asleep, then you will be very tired IWL.
