There are loads of other ways you can get lucid dreams. If a particular method isn't working out, the beauty of LDing is that you can change that method. If you have something that works very well for you, or if you have a long-term method, you may wish to keep tampering to a minimum. Your method, while it works, is in conflict with your life, however, so I would definitely recommend changing methods. If you'd like to continue WILDing, you can have them without lying on the floor. Personally, I use a custom DILD/MILD/VILD hybrid.
