Really the point is being able to remember to reality check. Don't expect to see these signs in the dream, just assume that you will remember to reality check when you are dreaming. The reality checking is based on these signs that are part of your everyday life, and some are so common that if you do remember to reality check all the time, you will likely be thinking about reality checking in general. |

Mmmmm, I can't say that's a bad thing to always be remembering it. For DILDs to work, you have to remember to RC due to an association. I think the MILDing, then, is made to work by remembering to RC out of habit, which is what you are doing. I know there's an association element to it, but MILDing is relying on your prospective memory to serve you well, which it appears to be doing. |
