Hey guys... Lately I've been a bit lazy to do wilds but i've been having semi-lucid DILDs where I see my dream signs and I know i'm dreaming but I never actually say it and realize the full implications. It's irritating because sometimes I demonstrate control techniques and stuff but still never do I become fully conscious. Last night for example I realized that there was an extra door in the room that was never there... I was showing some friends how I could erase the door from the wall because I knew it wasn't there. Anyone experience this? Also I always constantly see my dream signs and never notice... Any tips that would help me gain full control? |

Practice practice and more practice. Don't get up, don't get frustrated. |

And on that note, remember that when you do a RC, try to be more mindful. Force yourself to really think about where you are. Sometimes, if we do a RC that is kind of a mindless "Am I dreaming? Nope." it's not going to be very effective. Try something more like "Hm, this situation is weird. How did I get here? Can I trace back everything I did all day so far? Is any of this logical? Can I make my pencil float?" ect. Sometimes it helps to assume that you are dreaming first and go from there. Good luck. |

Another thing you can try is, the moment you are going to reality check, really trust that the reality check is going work. Like, for example, if you are doing the nose reality check, really expect that the air is going to pass through your nose. It's what I do, =) |

I agree with everyone else, but your post is contradictory of itself. |

Lucids: NONE
My only near-lucid dream was one of these. I said, "since this a dream, a steamboat wi come through this plazza and it will smell like cherry" and it worked. Im guessing that improving dream awareness will increase your ability to be full-lucid |
|
I sometimes start off semi-lucid and then realise I am actually lucid and kind of sharpen and refocus everything. I just tell myself "Right, I am dreaming, let's grab this and do stuff!" |
