Thread: Wondering about some potential lucid aids

I took Psychology back in Highschool and we learned about 'reward' systems in the brain where certain things (chemical) would have definite and mind altering effects.

I'm wondering if smoking right before bed, either for a DILD or WILD, would make any difference on SP, RCs, HI, or dream recall.

Any input is appreciated.

p.s. Referring to tobacco.

Common Dream aids are:


Binaural Beats these use stereo headphones to program specific frequencies in your brain to help induce specific states.

Monaural Beats Same as above but a more advanced and produce better results.

Isochronic Tones Again same as above but this is the most advanced one, I do put some support into these as when i was learning i had a lucid after using this for two nights.

There are many ways to obtain these but the best advice i can give you is that be careful of imitations.

Other things can be:

Mineral,vitamins,apple juice, etc.

But i still think after it all you need 3 things

1.Will
2.Determination
3.Dream Journal - Simply the most important and most rewarding.

Never give up because- Nothing can prepare you for the lucid world.
