      Tips for a Starter

So, i ill put im just one topic a lot of questions.
I need some tips for the techniques i ill be trying for the next yeaaars of my life!
Started with the training a week ago now.

I never had a LD, but im trying really hard..
-Im writing one dream every morning (at the first days i was writing 4, or 3, but now i started trying harder, i just can remember one :s)
-And trying to make myself do some Non-Mechanics Reality Checks (this is the hardest thing for me)

      Questions:
-What i can do to make Reality Checks all day long, but doing it, with the purpose of questioning the reality, and not just for doing it.
-Is this a trouble just remembering one dream every night? (they detailed and long)
-In my dreams i dont really do Reality Checks, and the only time i did, it worked, the hour was changing, but i didnt recognize that i was dreaming. Why?
-Im losing a lot of sleep in the past days, that i`ve been trying LD. What can i do to back with my regular sleep ? (i ill just try CANWILD in the normal days) I wake up normally at 4:00-4:30, and than i cant go back to sleep, this is messing up my sleep!
-I almost had an WILD, but i interrupted it cuz i was scared when i was almost entering the SP. Should i still try WILD, cuz now i know how to do it, or should i try MILD cuz im a starter?

      Thanks a lot guys.
i hope you can help me with that issues
      AND SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH

ok, I am not going to really answer whatever your asking, but i can tell you what I do to attain lucidity. I do WILD, after 5 1/2 half hours of sleep I wake up, cut off the alarm clock, slap myself, but do not get up, and I am getting SP in like 2 minutes. The main thing I can tell you is if you get up in the night and can not go back to sleep, then wake up earlier into the night that way you will go back to sleep, say if you go to sleep at 10, wake at 3 and that should be sufficient, make sure you are tired when you do it, and do not fear SP, welcome it, just imagine a song in your head that you like while the SP is happening.

      DILD/MILD - 7

Try to LD during afternoon naps or use CAN-WILD or the FILD technique. Use MILD as you fall asleep.

i would definately say that you should only try a WILD if it is a WBTB or if you are a flippen master.

The reailty checks only works if you do them properly. When you do a reality check during your day try to think that you are dreaming and look around you and then do a reailty check to see if you are dreaming. If you make this a habit in your waking life it will become a habit in your dream life and when that time comes you hopefully get lucid.

      Just a tip..
it's much easier to become lucid if you are more AWARE in your dreams, and that my friend is easy.
Just pracctise dream recall and soon you will be more and more aware in your dreams.
When I recorded 7 dreams in one night i was happy, but when I the next night literally woke up in my dream and then just made a reality chec k to be sure I was even happier x)

But if you are a beginner I suggest that you should read as much as you can just to become familiar with lucid dreaming. Then you can start MILD and DILD and even WILD.

      Do this:

Read about MILD, DILD and WILD just to get a hum about what it is.

Then during the day perform correct reality checks like the read reality check or nose plug and do them properly as I described earlier. Then when you get home try to visualise and remember your day as much that you want to remember a normal dream. then go to sleep and say and believe it (You have to believe Neo xD) "TONIGHT I WILL RECOGNISE THAT I AM DREAMING" and if you do it correct you will have lucid dream either a MILD or DILD. And keep a dreamjournal, I recommend Banhurts DreamJournal software. And when you have VERY good dream recall you start to wake up during the night after each dream cycle, don't know if this is correct but I did that anyway.
And BAM then you can WILD (DEILD or Normal WILD) and then you have three chances every night to become lucid, but if you fail this night you have a new night the next day to look forward to.

I hope this helped, this is how I started and still doing, but as I said, first become familiar with lucid dreaming watch some movies like "The Matrix trilogys,The Good night, Vanilla Sky and so on" then read about MILD, DILD, WILD (DEILD normal WILD), WBTB. and then do as I described, IF YOU WANT the recall thing can you just Visualise in your head. But it has certainly helped many people in this thread http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...t=93005&page=3.

Maybe that was too much information but take your time and read it, it's worth it

Yah and when doing the reality checks make sure that you are actually aware of all your surroundings and recoginize that you are awake when you are actually awake.

      thanks.
So the past two nights was sad for me.

last week (when i started training) i was in a vacation week, so i could sleep as much as i want!
than i was remebering 2,3 dreams every night.

but the past 2 days, when i back to my school, i dont remember my dreams anymore.
      not even one!

      i actually sleep at 11:00 - 00:00 and wake up at 5:40!
So do you think ur Journal of the Waking life is the ideal thing to me to start remembering again?

I think that you should periodically do Reality Checks, Have a Dream Journal, and take B-100 Complex Vitamins, at first when I started taking them I lost my dream recall for like 3 days, but after that I have been having excellent dream recall, I think that it takes a little while for the vitamins to get regulated in your system, hope this helps.

Yeah try the waking life journal, as I said you don't have to write it down it just take too much time, VISUALISE it in your head, it's like a placebo effect for your brain. Instead of that the brain sort our your memories, you're doing it by yourself then the brain can concentrate on the dream instead.
Just try it out for some nights and reply the results.

I prefer to write it down, cuz its easier to me delete it and make room for new toughts!

      Extraordinary.
had 2 very very very vivid dreams.
      Thanks a lot dude

Nice that you wrote it down it's better, the main thing is to write down the waking day in the same detail that you want to remember your dreams Good that the dream was vivid because then it's easier to notice that you are dreaming. Keep up the good work!
