      My Childmind induced lucid dream

Before I became a member of dreamviews and learned all incredible and fanastic induction techniques I had actually had two lucid dreams with my odd method that I used when I was 5-8 years old.
Dream Incubation! I just loved Harry Potter and superman and I believed if I sticked my right hand under my pillow and thinked of what I wanted to dream I would dream it. And sometimes it actually worked . And I think I was lucid sometimes too I saw my version of Hogwarts and screamed WOW then I woke up... and when I asked my parents they said "you were just dreaming ..."
Then I just stopped.. And then one day I just find lucidipedia and dreamviews and then I knew that it existed. But back then I really did incubated my dream effortless and became lucid. I'm going to try this again tonight lol xD But my question is: Does anybody here know a better technique to incubate a dream?

Well nobody really will help you if you have a suberbly un-specific question like that. The answer to it is basically every one of the 100,000 threads on this site. The best technique so far for me is FILD and DEILD.

I just swap between worlds when I want something else.

Really, it all comes down to your ability to control your dreams - even when I'm not lucid, I have no trouble with this, so I just decide I'm going to open a portal to another world and go there.

Try realising that you're massively powerful and can do anything, then exploit that xD

Huh, nice! I think I kinda got lucid as a kid...but I don't "count" them. I'd always wake up at a particular point when a monster is close to me. So, I guess I MAY have been lucid, since I know to wake up, or maybe not . I remember my mom would always tell me to "dream about angels", or some story that she just read, about a girly unicorn takin me in my pj's or something . I have never dreamed about angels in my life .
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

This is very similar to MILD, but you don't need to start to fall asleep and get into a self-suggestive area because you fully believed it. Now that you know it doesn't work, it won't. If you think that method works for you, check out MILD.

Yeah I did and last night or no it was this morning LONG WBTB xD I just were so aware that I realised that it was a dream. This was the first lucid that I ever had that felt REAL! and I levitated then I started to hear waking life sounds, it was like I were aware both in the dream and the waking world :S and then my dad woke me up because he thoguht that I had sleeped for too long ... But I am still happy, because now I know that a lucid dream can feel real!

But I still failed.. because even if my dad wouldn't woke me there I still had..
So how do I make the dream last longer if I hear waking life sounds?

I think VILD is this (Visually-induced LD). I think it's a variety of WILD though, so it's not really that similar.
The burden of proof lies with the one making the claim
