      Unhappy Someone Help Me!!!

Hey everyone, I've been trying for two weeks now with no success. I can remember my dreams very well and I have a dream journal. I do dream checks regularly, I know all of my dream signs too. What am I doing wrong????

think about it this way. if you are learning to be a pilot do you think your going to fly on your own in 2 weeks? the answer is no. some people get it fast and others it takes months. just stick to it

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

well...nothing. You are doing just fine...with what your using...what I mean by that is that your approach to your technique sounds sufficient. I would say give it another 2 weeks, for most people it takes about a month to have their first lucid dream, so you seem to be on pace for that.

...Im cautious to say 'change you technique' because it sounds like you are making progress. Improved dream recall is progress, I know it doesn't seem like it because you didnt become lucid, so it seems like your failing, but...thats not the case...that is progress in lucid dreaming, its what happens first, your dream recall and vividness of dreams improve, then more often than not lucid dreaming happens second.

So the choice is up to, either stick with it, which is a good option in my opinion. Or change it to MILD, which is also a good choice, but youll be....kinda/sorta be starting over, but not entirely.

The reason I say to change to MILD is because doing RC's all day, in my opinion (and I might get flamed for this) is not a lucid dreaming induction technique. I have never had really any success with doing RC's during the day. I know people who have had great success with it, so I know it works but in my opinion its not very practical or efficient as other techniques such as MILD. But like I said for some people it is. With using RC's as an induction technique the aim is to create a daily habit which will follow into your dreams, which is possible. But be aware that to make something a habit you must do it for 28+ days straight. Thats why I say give it another 2 weeks, Or change it.

MILD IS an induction technique and it will focus on you becoming aware in a dream. Of course you could combine them, doing RCs during the day and MILD by night. It could double your chances. But Im cautious to say 'combine' them because basically in both your trying to reprogram your subconscious and by doing both...it could be a conflicting message and your subconscious might not get it...I dont know though for sure...I mean it might work...who knows lol. Sorry to be so vague...hope this helps??
