I was back on the moon with Selene. I saw Raven in the distance with Spike. She waved at me. There was a huge structure behind her. There was a huge curved tower, sweeping up into the night sky, the way the surface went concave and convex reminded me of a tree. At the bottom of the tower was a large banyan tree, with wooden egg shapes hanging off of the branches, large enough for a person to fit in. When I saw how tiny the banyan tree was under the tower, I realized how big the tower was.
At the top of the tower was a slightly pointed elliptical shape. The tower was a metallic blue-black color.
"That is a kickass fortress!" I called to Raven.
"I know!" she said. "Come inside!" She beckoned.
Suddenly the three of us were in the top of the tower, sitting in large comfortable chairs, at consoles, with windows facing out. I felt Spike's invisible presence standing behind us. He seemed to be in a serious mood.
I was so excited, I started to lose clarity, so I stared at the console. It was full of little screens, knobs, buttons, switches, and a keyboard. "Cool!"
"Now we have a fortress on the moon, in case any bastard like Tooth tries to attack us, and we don't feel like fighting."
"Exactly," said Raven.
"Funny how we thought of this at the same time, but we never really talked about it in waking life, yeah?"
"I know!" she smiled.
"So, this is a spaceship, right?"
"Yup."
"Nice." I pressed a big pink button, and the ship lifted off the tower.
"Let's have a space adventure!"
"Easy there," said Raven. "You've already had an intense night. This dream is pretty important. You don't want to forget it. I already see you fading away. Why don't you set 'er down, and wake up and write the dream down?"
"You're right!" I laughed.
"I like your tree house, by the way!" said Raven.
Selene turned and looked at me, burning her face into my mind as I awoke, with the distinct feeling that they were going on without me.

We were standing back on the moon, looking at the tower. Now there was a black wall around it, made of a shiny black stone, with Tesla coils built at intervals. The Tesla coils made a dome-shaped force field over the Tower. We walked in the front gate. Near my ficus tree was a mango tree, a starfruit tree, and other plants growing around it, spreading across the ground. "A biodome," Raven whispered.
"Yeah!" I smiled. "Hey, let's go look at my house!" I said.
We teleported into and indoor greenhouse, shaped like an egg, its wall made of living wood. "And this," I said, "Is my greenhouse!" as we walked between rows and rows of cannabis plants. Raven laughed again. "You are ridiculous." I broke a flower bud off of a plant.

We teleported into the Great Room, the room with the couch going around it. "Wow, it's really beautiful in here," said Raven.
"So..." I said, "anyone want to smoke a joint?"
"No!" laughed Raven, "you know I'm not into that stuff!" I looked down in my hands, sat down, focusing on rolling my joint. Selene grinned at me.
"It really is pretty in here," said Raven quietly. "Thank you," I replied.
Raven disappeared.

-Nomad Chronicles

I followed Q as he walked across the moon for a bit. He said that he had found a good spot. He snapped his fingers. The ground began to shake. Something was rising out of the ground. It was a tall tower. Q watched the tower as it grew far up into the sky. He said this was just a nice little outpost. http://rookery2.viary.com/storagev12...e_625x1000.jpg He said it could serve multiple purposes. He said for one thing it is a clear location to focus on when sharing dreams. A tower fortress on the moon. He said it has defense mechanisms so it can also serve to keep uninvited guests out. Guests such as that Tooth thing Nomad and I keep meeting up with. He said he had also modeled it after the tower in the Stephen King book series called the Dark Tower. He said thus it is a gateway to other worlds. He said controlling portals from here would work much easier and it would also prevent uninvited individuals from opening portals. So there would be none of these situations where Tooth (or someone else similar) opens a portal and grabs someone. Those portals would be blocked. Q said I should go in and check it out.

I headed over to the tower and looked up. I noticed a strange tree near the base of the tower. A rather large tree (though still dwarfed by the tower) that looked like it was growing huge seed pods of some kind. I asked Q what the tree was. Q hadn't answered before I saw Nomad looking at the tower. I called out to him. He came over and was looking up at the tower. He said it was an awesome fortress. I told him Q had built it. Cool, yes? He said with a fortress on the moon we wouldn't have to fight bastards like Tooth if we don't want to. I said that was part of the idea. Let's go inside and check it out. I asked if Nomad knew what the tree was. He said that was just a little something he had been working with. I said that was cool.

We went inside to check the tower out. The inside looked technologically advanced. This was in contrast with the outside of the tower. I saw Selene there with us. I went over to one of the computers. The computer talked. It introduced itself as a Pentican Computer System. The computer said it would take care of the tower defenses automatically. Friendlies allowed in, enemies kept out… I kept looking around. There was a landing bay near the top of the tower. I saw my Fire Valkyrie there. Nomad was looking at that. I asked if he wanted a space ship of some kind. I said Q could make one if he wanted… The Fire Valkyrie was inspired by the anime series Macross 7. It's mine. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2453/...a28cca126c.jpg But there's room for more. Then we could go on space adventures. I noticed Spike enter the room. He was looking at Nomad strangely. I wondered why. He didn't say anything. He just turned and left. I went to follow Spike. Everything around me faded to black as I woke.

-Raven Knight's Dream Travels

This is a dream… I can do whatever I want now… they can't hurt me here. I opened my eyes. Everyone but a few people were gone. Nomad was there. He was laughing. But he wasn't laughing at me. He was laughing with another person I didn't recognize. Selene was there. She was smiling, but not laughing. I looked at the man holding me. It was Basara. He smiled at me. He asked if I was ok. I said I guessed I had not been lucid…

Nomad wanted to go to the moon. I opened a portal and we went through. We emerged near the tower. The man we had brought with us seemed impressed. We teleported into a biodome. There were plants and animals all around. It was a beautiful place. The person we had brought with us was gardening. He was planting flowers. The animals were friendly. I was petting a cat-like animal that was the size of a Great Dane. It was silky soft and purring. Our visitor now seemed to want to fight. Nomad didn't want to do it in the biodome. He said we could go to a coliseum.

Now, for Task of the Year: Beat Neil Armstrong Down the Ladder

"I had a false awakening in a graveyard, weirdly. I stood up and checked my hand to find several extra fingers. I nodded to myself, satisfied. There was a tall, black metal fence surrounding the graveyard, and I wanted to get outside of it. I could see a city with skyscrapers in the distance, and fancied exploring. I took a running jump and glided up over the fence, landing on top of a bus shelter outside. I stopped and thought for a second, and remembered the task of the year. The city seemed like the kind of place I might be able to hitch a ride to space from, with the view to beating Neill Armstrong down the ladder to be first on the moon. The city centre was definately uphill from my position, so I flew at waist-height up the steepest street I could find, going in the right direction. I flew through a massive crowd of people, all heading the same way. I noticed my youngest brother among the crowd. He seemed to be getting overwhelmed by the masses, so I picked him up and put him on my back. The crowd was getting thicker and thicker as I came close to the building at the top of the street, and I eventually found them all trying to cram into an elevator at the base of a tower. I looked at it, and thought it looked like it could be the kind of elevator that lifts astronauts up to the door of their rocket, so I decided to get on it.
"Stand back!" I shouted. "Astronauts only!" Smirking to myself, I wondered if this ridiculous authoritative strategy would work...:

03/32/10 Task of the Year: Neil Armstrong

MoSh and I were now in a rather small space. It was the interior of a space capsule. I looked over and saw an astronaut in the process of climbing out a hatch. Through the hatch I could see stars. I went over to the hatch, pushed myself off of the helmet of the astronaut, did a somersault in the air, and landed on my feet on the moon.

"Ha!" I said, looking back up at Neil Armstrong, "The first human on the moon is a WOMAN! Eat moon dust!" I summoned up a flag and planted it in the ground.

"What on Earth?" Neil Armstrong said.

"Hey!" I said, "We're not on Earth, remember? I am claiming this spot to be the future home of the tower and the biodome."

MoSh stepped out of the capsule and stepped onto Neil Armstrong's helmet. He stood there and looked down at me. He said if I was plotting the location of the tower, we were in the wrong place. This wasn't where the tower was built. I told him I knew it wasn't the exact spot, what I was doing was just representative of claiming an area of the moon on which to build the biodome and the tower. MoSh jumped down off of Neil Armstrong's head and landed right beside me on the moon. He looked back up at the astronaut on the ladder. Neil Armstrong was talking into his transmitter. He was saying he wasn't alone on the moon… there were two other people already here! Who had somehow stowed away on the rocket… but we didn't have any space suits on… so how was that possible? There must be an atmosphere on the moon after all… It looked like he might take his helmet off. I floated up and told him not to be retarded… this was a dream, our dream (I indicated MoSh and myself), but he needed the helmet. Neil Armstrong agreed it must be a hallucination. He climbed back into the capsule.

Somehow, I felt like I was familiar with all the weird vuttons and knobs in front of me. There was a middle-aged lady sitting beside me at the controls. I knew it was Neil Armstrong.
I hear a voice saying, "Ten seconds to experimental quick spatial jump. Please remain fixed to your toilet seats."
I find this comment quite normal. A large number appears in mid-air, displaying 15 seconds remaining. I justify it as a 3D projection, a hologram. The countdown starts. 15......16........100........31.......3#......6%.. ....O_O PS this is an exact reference.
I become lucid. I start to look around, trying to increase the detail. I could see a large screen, showing odd symbols and shapes in green in front of me. On my left was a coffee table, fully laid out. On my right was Neil Armstrong. He was back to a man now.
I realize that we are at the moon already. Neil realizes this as I do as well. We both look into each other's eyes for a moment, and suddenly dash for the exit. The exit is made for only one person, and we both cram it up, getting stuck. I force myself out. Now I can see a ladder descending into the moon, but it looked more like a ladder you see in game shows, made of plastic and quite large, with obstacles in between to keep me from getting down.
Neil was here as well. We both started going down the ladder. It's like a race, but it was fun. Now my view was like a game screen, and everything became cartoonish. The ladder was yolk yellow color. On the sides, for each participant of the race, there are small bombs, to throw at one another. I pick up a bright blue grenade, and throw it at him. He ducks, and shouts, "You missed!"
But the grenade falls instead on his ammunition. He realizes what's going on, but is too late too stop it. The grenade detonates. There is an average blast, but now the grenade the closest also blows up. This causes a huge chain reaction, blowing all the way to the end at his side. He looks at me in surprise. I grin.
I use flash step to get to the end. Zap! I am a LOT closer. Another ZAP! And I am at the end. Neil shouts, "Hey! No fair!"
"Thats what you get for being a DC, dumbass!"
I am now at the moon. Neil takes sometime to get to the bottom. I beat him! Completed another TotY! I was enjoying the landscape. The more I looked, the more there was to see. There was a whole colony of people, living under a huge dome. At the center of the glass dome, there was a huge tree, going a mile into the sky. It was all magnificent, in contrast to the black and silver landscape of the moon. In the dome, I could see shops, houses, factories. Generally, a whole city. There were people bustling here and there.
I hear a lone wolf's howl. I was really enjoying myself here. I lose my lucidity to the landscape.

I look at my hands and I had a lot of fingers so I became lucid. I said, "Ha! I knew it. That tat is not right. I am lucid, this is a dream." I took my blue backpack were I have my cards and left. I flew away and saw the moon up in the sky:

I gained some height and used my backpack as a jet pack. First I flew straight up and then straight. It was hard to fly with the jetpack. I almost hit a building. My backpack ran out of gas so I threw it away and kept flying on my own. I saw the moon and the dream started to fade. I spun and recovered the dream. Slowly the imagenery was back. I was getting out of the Earth and a voice said, "I know what you want. You want to go to Space." As I was exiting the Earth, instead of the moon, I saw another Earth. I though, "Not the Earth, I need the Moon!!!" The voice sounded again, "I know what you want. You want to see the Earth from a balcony at the moon." I was annoyed about that voice messing up. I saw myself approaching at the moon. I saw an odd building. The dream started to fade, so I had to recover it again.

I was inside a building. Everything was metallic and I saw flashes of light. I was like in a very old school first person shooting game, but I had no gun. I heard a lot of loud and annoying noises.

I saw red and blue arrows. Every few seconds, a hatchet with a blue arrow would close. I realized I was in a maze and I had to run to exit throughout the blue arrows. I suddenly saw armed soldiers, but they ignored me. I walked through them. I finally exited and I had a perfect vision on the moon...
