Flew down a flight of pink adobe clay steps (6-10) of a large white house and land on the bottom step like being stuck in a trashcan with your legs folded.
Raging at the top of the steps was a man who looks like Pancho Villa in the doorway with his daughter peeking out from behind him.
He yells in very accented english, "Chu will never forget ta nem of Jose Arcadio Buendias!!!"
Not until 2 months later did I have the revelation in a second dream that he was who got sent to haul my soft mind through the dream world.
Setting: A beach with rough sand that was powdered white granite (apparently some dream geologic detail). It was extremely bright on the beach, but off in the distance everything had that "epic movie filter look" (think the browns and yellows seen in 300) and a boiling sky of flickering red and black was threatening.
I was walking towards the breakers and was about to play around in the waves when Jose Arcadio's head appeared for a second through the gap in a wave and then the rest of him appeared as he stomped clumsily through the waves at me. He was wearing one of those full-body 1920's swimsuits that have the short/suspender combo thing. I asked why he was here and if he was my dream guide. In a kind of tone that was reluctant like, yeah... you found me, now I guess I have to be your stupid guide now..., he said:
"I am sent from the Leviathan as your guide to kill him. You are not found to be ready yet, so... you will die here."
The last part he spoke into my mind in a matter-of-fact David Attenborough (evil version) narrator voice and it was the voice of the Leviathan projected through him.
A part of my brain (in the dream) was blocked off and I fell over onto the beach like I got stabbed in the back. Floundering on my side on the beach, the skin that was touching the sand flecked off in big dirt clots as I turned into dirt! This was incredibly painful and the second I woke up from the dream, I spit in real life.
I guess my mind had such a hard time waking up that I panicked when I thought it was a false-awakening and I did some random flailing freak out and spat.
Most profound dream I've ever had. Both in realism and the fact that I've been thrown on a quest (ongoing) to prove/coerce this personal demon into a second contact.
My business on DreamViews will mostly be dealing with advice for "hunting" this barrier/being. I've had a really hard time encountering this thing again and I figure I could use some outside help for developing an approach to it. I feel like I have blind-spot for the thing, as it is part of myself.
A few things that I reason-- I'm not trying to kill the Leviathan for revenge as I feel like removing a power of that kind would kind of lobotomize my dream world. I would like to communicate with it and leave the conversation with a kind of peace with it, not bossing it around or just saying a meek "hi".
I'm open to all of your creative solutions and would like to get in touch with someone who is/has pursued some higher-level mental flyswatter/god.
Note: My dream guide is based directly on the character Colonel Aureliano Buendía from the book 100 Years of Solitude, both in stubbornness and nationality.
One of the best jobs of comunicating a dream I have ever seen. I hope to see more stuff from you.
Michael Harner had a symbolic death during a vision involving the auahusca vine. After the symbolic death, he talked to what he called dragon like whales, leviathins if ever there were. The leviathins told him that they came from another dimension, made the earth and created all living things on it, they also said that they now resided, hidden, in all life on earth, (hiding from what they did not say, but they said they were hiding from something).
The Shaman who initiated the vision when told by Michael Harner of the experience replied "that's what they always say, but they did not start all life, that is a lie".
This has a corrolation if you will with the Gnostic christian idea, that Yaldoboath, the blind idiot God who being the lowliest of the Gods, left the Gods with his life spark (sereptitiously) to be seperate from them and thus created all of life that we know of to hide within it. The ancient gnostic shaman christians contended that in order to end reincarnation you had to escape Yaldaboath and go back to creation.
In Chelsea Quin Yarbrough's "The Michael Teachings" all of mankind is given a "chief feature" that is thier most defining negative quality. This negative quality serves as an obstacle to learn from and in some rare instances to over come. The chief features if you will are considered life forces of thier own that kind of feed off of you and keep you in check so to speak, and have been debated to be appendiges of these "leviathins" or "Yaldaboaths" if you will. The chief features kind of correspond to the seven deadly sins, and it would be kind of lengthy to get into them right here.
Good Luck
