I have searched and, while I have found threads on these subjects, there is nothing that I can find really in the way of "how to".

I can't seem to meditate in waking life (too much to think about), so I am wondering if it would be easier to focus and concentrate during a lucid dream? I read that if you close your eyes in a dream, you might lose everything around you (being that you aren't focusing on it), so would I do this with my eyes open? Would I still be cluttered with distracting thoughts?

Should I be able to meditate in said dream, would astral projection be easier or harder? How would I accomplish this, would I just force myself to look at my sleeping self in the third person or what?

I read that if you try to read the akashic records, your spirit/dream guide will appear to guide you through the process. To get to the records, am I just supposed to visualize whatever medium it would be in (computer, library, television, large book, etc.) and will it to be full of the information I need? And while there, if I haven't met a spirit/dream guide yet, will I probably meet it here? Or will I basically be "on my own" in figuring out how to search until I meet my dream guide?

If I meet my dream guide, will it "stand out" from the crowd, or will I have to be examining every DC around me in hopes of finding it?

Sorry if these questions seem rather stupid, but as I said, I searched and couldn't find much detail
