Dreaming other people's dreams

Hello. I often have dreams that reflect thoughts or experiences that belong to other people, and know of a number of cases where other people have had dreams that belong to me. This doesn't just happen with dreams, it happens while awake too, though for me its most obvious while dreaming since that is when my imagination is the clearest.

For me, the value of experiencing something of someone else's mind in a dream, is it gives me a new perspective that I haven't had before. It wakes up something in me that I was ignorant of, and I become more than I was. In the reverse case, where someone else encounters my thought in a dream, their experience of it also adds something of value. They dream it differently than I could have, usually with some insight or understanding that I didn't see. I'd give some examples, but I'm hesitant to publicly post details related to the private thoughts of other people.

There is a muse or daemon or fate or universal angel of some sort that is involved in the creation of all these dreams. This same entity is also involved in the creation and ordering of events in waking life.

One way I know that some of my dreams aren't "mine", is they often contain specific thoughts and accurate premonitions that relate to other people's lives which I would have no other way to know about, and which I can objectively verify later. Similarly, one way I know that other people have 'my' dreams, is their dreams sometimes contain details that are quite specific to my personal private thoughts and experiences. To varying degree's, there's generally some overlap, some synergy between their minds and mine so that the dream images mean something personal to both of us, in somewhat different ways.

The reason I'm posting is I'm looking for more shared dream experiences, as food for personal growth. If you're interested in collaborating, there isn't anything you have to 'do' to make it happen, the 'muse' will just make it happen if he/she finds it appropriate. If you have a dream that seems foreign, which you don't understand, describe it to me, and it may be something I'm already familiar with. Likewise, if you have something you want to understand that seems beyond your reach, ask me and I'll see what I can find out.

If I dream something that's unfamiliar, without anyone contacting me first, I'll post it here if I'm comfortable doing that. If you want to communicate something more privately, send e-mail to my yahoo account mjbackues.

I got nothing relevant last night after posting this, as far as I can tell. Though with retrospect, I did get a dream three nights ago about a young woman meeting her date at a theater or opera. Its possible that one belongs to someone who read this, though I can't tell aside from knowing that the person in the dream was not me. The order, that the dream came before the person would have read the written message, doesn't tell me anything. At the level where the dream is created, the reaction to the written message two days later would likely already have been mostly a forgone conclusion.

I also dream other peoples dreams (or they're being pulled into mine). I've even had a few people tell me they had a dream about me, I cut them off, tell them the dream, and they either say "wow!" or leave me alone and leave.

Although u probably won't believe this, I know what kind of individual a person is instinctively, and if I concentrate I can hear a person talking/thinking across the room over vast distances. They can never, ever lie to me as well. Since I'm a nice, decent person, I can also put them at ease and make them my friend almost instantly. One thing I don't like about this "gift" is that I can easily manipulate other individuals with this "talent," although I know better than to do something along those lines. From time to time, I also pickup visual images (as in short movies) of things that are happening or are going to happen as well.

Anywho, I seriously doubt the vast majority of folks will believe this, but at least I had my say, and now I'm wondering if there are other folks out there like me as well.

Ya i agree, why would i have dreams of going to bars sometimes when i NEVER go to them??!! It tells me i'm getting a dream from some other male coming through. Lately i had like 3 or 4 dreams related to things i don't do.

Personally, I think what u people are picking up are the mental thoughts and transmissions of psychic individuals, whether u believe in that stuff or not. I also think these "gifts" are leftover abilities from the Hunter Gatherer Period, where they were used to defend the tribe from harm. Also, I believe these so called "Shadow People" are actually manifestations of psychic individuals that are probably in some form of astral projection while dreaming, but they don't have quite enough "signal" to become an image of the person projecting themselves. I also think that this could explain the ghost situation as well. Either that, or I could see that ghosts are actually space-time distortions and we're actually seeing images from the future or past.

This is a bit off topic, but, while we're at it, I also think that the bermuda triangle is for real. What I think is happening is the magnetic poles are in a state of flux, trying to flip and are temporarily "bucking" and moving, with one pole end showing up in the bermuda area. There is also written record of the same things happening near Japan. Where else on this planet could a compass go crazy besides at the heart of a magnetic pole?
