Playing card experiment

Hey guys, I've searched these forums a bit regarding this experiment and all I found was either people proposing it, or reporting their failures.
So here I want to ask if there is anyone here who actually pulled it off?
4 those of u who dont know heres the gist of the experiment- get 1 card and place it in a spot without looking at it and astraly project and try and check the card.
Now Ive tried this many times, at least 30 in total. Most of the times I figured out it was a normal LD as I was able to use telekinesis with no problems and most of the times I failed in guessing the correct card ofc. Sometimes I even did the ol' turn away and look at it again RC and sure enough the cards did change almost every single time.
But 1 time, I may have actually gotten lucky and pulled it off or I just got lucky and guessed the card. The experience itself felt a bit different: I felt very light as opposed to my regular slugish feeling when Im dreaming that I am inside my room.
The card I saw was the Ace of hearts and after in RL I checked and it actually was the ace of hearts.
There is 1 problem though: I purposely use a different deck (Hungarian cards) so as to further reduce the chance of a coincidental correct guess and the ace of hearts in that deck doesnt have an "A" letter (it has a picture of a woman), but in my possible OBE I clearly saw hearts with the letter A.
Any thoughts, success stories maybe?

I am trying the same thing right now but with a word on a piece of paper. I have only made it to the word twice and both times the word that i got in the astral projection was not correct and really random, the first time it said "pumpkinpatches" the secong time it said "slippers" according to my girlfriend niether one of those words are right.

I have not had an A.P yet that felt like i was light or lofty as you described, in all of my A.P's i feel heavy and slugish, the same as a dream. I am going to keep trying also, i will post back if i get a match.

I also think it is possible to feel light even within a dream, it probably varies depending on your "mood" or level of lucidity. Today I had another go at the card experiment and I had like 3-4 attempts. In one of them, I was very lucid and felt quite arrogant actually and in that dream I could float in my room with no problems while passing through tables and whatnot, but this time I did my telekinessis check and it was definitely just a lucid dream (I also checked the card and it was completely different from the real one). In my other attempts I felt really sluggish at the first moment I found myself being able to walk inside my room.

Do you guys think it is possible to pick up items in an Astral Projection or is it limited only to dreams? That could also be one way of distinguishing between a dream and an AP.
Is there a big thread in which people post results of their AP experiments? I think it would be great if we could make like one big AP experimental thread which would be a sticky thread and people could post all of their results on it.

yeah, that would be a cool thread to start.

seeing that I personally think Astral projection is a type of lucid dream i think you are capable of doing anything while "out of body".... When i have come "out of body" I cant find anything thats any different from a dream. Next time you go out of body look around the room, you will see at least one dream sign, that should prove immidiatly that you are indeed dreaming and not out of you body inside of this reality. even though i am still going to experament with this I personally think AP is a type of WILD and it is no different than any other lucid dream besides the fact that you come out of your body to enter the dream rather than the dream just forming in front of you.

keep it up... and start that thread, i would love to be proved wrong about this

Well, so far from my point of view you may be right about APs being just another form of dreams, but this is exactly why we are doing these experiments: to prove ourselves wrong

. If I ever get like 3 consecutive positive results on this my mind will officially be blown

and that's what I'm hoping for.
As for the thread, I think I should probably contact a forum moderator or someone like that in order to be able to potentialy make a sticky thread.
Do you now any moderators for this forum?

Three in a row would shock me. Someone else on this forum says that colors may be easier than playing cards or reading words, so I may switch my word for a color.

No I don't know any moderators, I'm pretty new to DV

At the moment u will only find just my post on it, but please submit all of your results so that we can get some momentum going for the thread.

You know I tried to do this once, and even told one of my parents about this and she thought it was witchcraft. My family has this weird thinking that OBE's and anything like this is considered witchcraft. I will try it anyways.
