How do you define an OBE or a lucid dream?

For me i's the same "An experience with a non-physical body" But what I've heard you should think of your physical body in bed, to get to waking sleep paralysis and then continue focusing on the physical body and you will transition into an OBE. And to convert waking sleep paralysis, you have to think about the non-physical body through visualisation for example.
But I have only tried lucid dream transitions so far, but as I said, I believe it's the same thing but I am currious of what you think is the difference.

From what I hear, is that you need to fly really really really fast, at a slightly upwards angle towards the sun. Your body will start to vibrate, and you keep flying faster and faster until BOOM your out of body.
All of experience is fun for me, whether in a dream, or in reality, because I love existing, learning, and continuously evolving and sustaining. Then again, who knows, I may not enjoy existing so much if I caught a face full of buckshot from an angry farmer. But hey, at least I'd got out with a bang.

basically you have to just wake yourself up slightly so you can prove that you can go straight from being awake to being asleep. ive got very close but i find it hard to know if you have ever actually woken up (just in life in general too ). what you can do is stabilise the dream with all senses, then when you wake yourself up, dont move and it should be easy to slip straight back into it. once you do this it will help to get used to the feelings that may help you do a proper wild

oh shit just as i was typing this i was listening to this tune. check the ending out

Oddly enough, this possibly happened to me last night O.o
What happened was, I was feeling SP while in a dream, so instinctively, I forced my own 'dream' body up, because I wanted to stand up into a dream (but it didn't come to me that I already was in one.) I was soon floating above my bed, my room oddly in strange blue hues. It was hard for me to move, but I was able to change my 'body's' direction. . . . . Not really sure if it was. . . but still, the sensations I felt could only be that of something like that.

Ever heard of Phantom Wiggling? My whole 'body' felt like that, heavy, and constricted, yet I was floating. I'm gonna guess from this experience is that as you're dreaming, try to get a sense of your physical body sleeping, and basically force yourself up. Also, from a previous dream, I was thrown out of a car, and I believed it had also caused me to experience on OBE, since I was also thrown out of my physical body.

      Things I've done while Lucid:

      - Flying - Dream Rewind and Fast Forward
      - Invisibility - Shapeshifting - Grown Wings
      - Summoning [mastered (?)] - Zip lining
      - Fireball

      If I'm not mistaken:
OBE is Out Of Body Experience.
WILD is Wake Initiated Lucid Dream.

Those 2 are a lot different.

Depends on psilosphy but most say that OBE is scientific term for Astral Projection.
To be honest I did not believe that something like that is actually possible, until I actually experienced it once for myself.

Marwanin, I don't have any experience with moving from LD to OBE, but good luck Having LD's where you can actually work on OBE is a great start.

I think people are sort of confused on these terms. Astral planes are a name for non-physical dimensions which are "above" the physical in the same way one radio station is above another in frequency. When one dreams they are projecting into this dimension unconsciously, and because it is highly responsive to thought, it is used by the subconscious to enact its nightly dramas. If you have a lucid dream, you are already in this region, but now conscious of it. An OBE where you sit up from your body and float around the house just means you are locked very close to the physical realm and haven't ascended into the upper regions where you will encounter different landscapes.

So if you would like to have the experience of lifting out of your body, reconnect with your body from a lucid dream (wake up,) don't move, wait for the vibrations, and then do some exit technique. If you would just like to explore the astral planes, you are already there. Now there are higher regions which may be more interesting, instead of just floating around copies of your neighborhood. To access these I find some form of upper movement or ascension works. I have gotten into elevators and when they open I am in a very beautiful region. Someone mentioned flying quickly upwards at a 45degree angle until new scenes materialize. This is what Robert Bruce recommends. Also stop trying to control everything in your surroundings. A more passive attitude may allow for you to experience areas which are less of a virtual sandbox and more seemingly "objective," if such a word can be used for these realms.
