The Mental Plane

The mental plane is all about thought being in a completely free state. It's a world of wonder were you reach out toward the endlessly unimaginable. I was portaled there once in a dream state and here is what happened: I appeared in a waiting room talking to friends in my imagination that appeared slightly cartoonish. I then have a lapse in memory but then appeared in an open field at nighttime. The dark sky was full of stars and I was in wonder. The sky then became the fully unleashed state of thought. It was like looking at a collidescope of conception. It was like nothing I had ever imagined existed. Full of bright unfolding descriptions of the deepest thought. I then flew up and realized the streams of information were coming from the whole Universe to the Earth. The whole thing was very harmonic and made me peaceful. Does anyone know were I can get some good information on the different planes?

Hey bud! I don't have any experience in other realms like the mental plane, but my knowledge comes from Robert Bruce, who is a very experienced astral projector. He's written Astral Dynamics and Mastering Astral Projection - 90-Day Guide to Out-of-Body Experience. He wrote the "Treatise on Astral Projection" which appears on his website as well, which covers the basics of out-of-body information. In the second section, he covers the different realms and energy. Here is his segment on the Mental Dimension: The Mental Dimension This is a spectacular dimension! Iridescent rivers of sound bounded by rainbow shores of pulsating light. Thoughts appear as kaleidoscopic patterns of light and sound. You walk across fields of ideas under a sparkling crystal sky of inspiration. If you enter this world don't try to rationalise or understand it, or you may go mad, for it is beyond human understanding. Just accept it all, go with the flow and enjoy it! This dimension is what, I believe, the ancient Vikings called the famed "Rainbow Bridge" into Asgard. It truly looks and feels as if you are walking up a rainbow into some wonderful world where the Gods must surely dwell. Exist here in wondrous amazement. Let loose the child within you to play in this fairy wonderland. Everything feels real and solid. Time is even further distorted here than in the Astral and reality is kaleidoscopic. Sounds similar to your experience in a way. I have looked at this dimension as one without any form, of only light and thought/will. I have a long way to go, though.
