Well, seems like the President of America has mind bodyguards, protecting him from explorers such as us - Robert A. Monroe tried it. He tried an OBE when Kennedy (yeah, since Kennedy!) was in his town, and he incidentally didnt know that. It's in his book, Journeys out of the body. Lemme show you an exerpt: 7/13/61 Afternoon-Night On a visit to Cape Cod, I arrived in Hyannis somewhat tired, and lay down in the afternoon for a rest. Upon relaxation, the usual lifting-out process occurred, and I found myself drifting over the back area of a house, near the garage. A dog was in the yard (a large, German shepherd type), and when he noticed me, he barked excitedly. A man came around the edge of the house (right side, facing the rear), pulled a gun, and aimed it at me. 1 withdrew hurriedly before I could realize that perhaps bullets couldn't hurt me. I returned, lay in bed and thought it was over, and was able to recall no more than the fact that the man seemed very tall. That evening, after going to bed, the surge came again, and I drifted out. I was floating over several houses, trying to decide what to do, when suddenly this tall man appeared in front of me (the same one), and stopped me merely by being in my way. I got an impression of calm strength. He asked me why I wanted to see the President. 1 was surprised at first, because 1 didn't have any particular desire to see Eisen-hower (that was my mind's connotation of President), but I made up an idea of a plan for peace, and told the tall man about it. He then asked how "we can be sure you are loyal to the United States." 1 replied, still confused, that I was sure proper information on me was in Washington. He then said, after a moment, that I could not see the President at this time. I consented agreeably, and returned. Lying in bed, thinking it over, I first realized that Eisenhower was no longer President of course. I also suddenly had the very deep conviction that Kennedy had a psychic bodyguard (or rather mindguard). I then realized that Kennedy might be there in Hyannis that weekend. I got up and went downstairs, found the local paper, and on the front page was the story that Kennedy was arriving in Hyannis that afternoon. (I had not seen a paper for the past two days.) There you go. Now for the Lucid shared dream experiences: She tried it - I'm just going with my gut, it could have been anything, but I've always had an uneasy feeling about him. I don't dislike him. That's just the feeling I get. Maybe it was a "firewall", or maybe it wasn't. Either way, I'm just stating my opinion on the matter. *shrugs* I just thought it was interesting. As far as shared dreams go, I've shared a dream with someone on this forum, and I don't know him personally. In fact, we live across the world from one another. Nomad has as well, so have many others here. Have you read Nomad's FAQ? That is kind of the point of this thread, we're taking it a little off-topic so it seems. He tried it - I tryed to go in obamas dream once. i teleported and was in a firey red place and was stabbed in my stomache by the claw of a demon and woke up in like ten seconds What is going on? Does Obama know about those Nightsuckers which Man of Shred was talking about in his shared dreaming tuts?: People have been into the other aspects of lucid dreaming (shared dreams) for years. They have done so in secret. Maybe of them started reading Carlos Castaneda and started many of their ideas from there. Some of them came from the russian dreamhacking group. anyway these forums are invitation only and mostly filled with bent individuals who practice dream sharing as a means of power over other people. They are like the annoying 12 year old prodigies of games like Halo online, they will always try to dominate and scare you. Why? because they can, and because they think they are the only ones who practice the art.

I think there are no mind-bodyguards yet. But during my attempts to have a shared dream with a particular person I met somebody or something like Dream Watcher/Guarding. And I am not the only one who encountered this. Here is a DJ entry where I mentioned the dream watcher. Shared Dream Test Update #3 - Based on coordinates, dv nickname and photo of the place. - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views Everybody sees differently, but as far as I know many people met this "dream watcher". Maybe this is some kind of mind barrier system that we have. I think Robert A. Monroe could meet the same dream guarding, but interpreted it in his own way. But I believe this is not far from future, as soon as there will be first successful attempts on shared dreaming with actual proof, people will start thinking of mind protection. And we might see mind-bodyguards then.

I think the Project Stargate must be influential in convincing the President, if he has a mindguard, to have one. I mean, the US military wont be that stupid to go chasing after 'voodoo stuff', that is, OBE, unless they were sure, right? (check out Project Stargate)

Obama has hundreds of millions of people thinking about him, millions of whom hate him and millions of whom would like to shield him. Like any other famous person he must reflexively have a substantial psychological wall up to protect himself. Also, how to you find the real Obama in the huge cloud of thoughts that other people have about him? I think its hard to overestimate how stupid the US military, or any other organization that large can be. I did R&D for the Air Force Research Labs for several years. Just because some team in a city-sized bureaucracy is investigating something doesn't mean there's anything to it. There may be, or there may not be. I doubt that he has official psychic bodyguards, though that's just an educated guess.
