Astral Projection/OBE Spirits?

Hi all, I've been attempting the WILD method for lucid dreaming lately, and all the tutorials say that if you take a certain exit route you can have an Out of Body Experience. So I have done some research on OBE's. All of the forums and sites I have visited always mention spirits, or presences that exist in the astral plane and how they can harm you. What are these spirits? Are they real? And why are they not mention in Lucid dreaming tutorials? It seems that they must be taken seriously because they are mentioned in every astral projection forum I have read, but are not mentioned once in a lucid dreaming context.

Im supprised no one else has posted on this yet, in any case, lots of people debate wither OBE or AP are trully going into another realm and seeing spirits and ext... Or just a form of lucid dreaming where you just imagine you are seeing those spiratial things, i am somewhat new to to lucid dreaming and plan on learning to out of body experience, and such forth i have not ever experienced an OBE or AP, but my dad said that he has before and he beleived it to be a type of lucid dream, so im going with that anwser for now, as for the spirits hurting you i would say you could deal with it the same way as a night mare Hope that helps

Hi there Jay, I'll give you MY opinion on this. I believe you do see spirit, sometimes loved ones and sometimes those you don't know. I went OOB this one night and saw who I perceived to be my nan ((my sight was a little blurred)), I was confused as my nan is still here with us. This woman held my hands and told me to check on my nan when I woke up and make sure she will be ok and to look after her. Of course I agreed and as soon as I woke I wrote it all down. I awoke the next morning and told my mom about it and told her to check on my nan as I knew this was to be taken seriously. My mom rang my nan and my nan told her that her sister died that night, the sister looks just like my nan, hence me thinking at first it was my nan. Her sister died around the time I had a visitation from her. I do have abilities to pick up on things and also see/hear things not on our wave length. I don't go round shouting about it but it's been this way since I started getting SP about 5 years or so ago. I'm a natural lucid dreamer and have OOBE's without trying so I would say I know a fair bit about what I'm saying, although I'm no expert and I'm still learning like so many others on here. I think you need to experience things for yourself. If you want to go OOB just imagine a bright white light covering you as you relax and ask to be protected. You may feel daft at first but the rewards are great if you manage it. Good luck to you and stay safe. Need any help just PM me
