Precognition-This No Longer Seems Like Coincidence.

So for the past year or so, while taking careful note of my dreams, I've had some odd, precognitive phenomena occur. I tried to talk to my family about this, but I should know better by now. They all think this is a bunch of crap. But I can't deny what I've discovered.

The first time this happened was when I was in college last spring, and our campus was put on lock down. The night before, I dreamed that I was in a mall, and it went on lock down. I noticed that one right away, but wasn't quite sure of its validity.

Rapist At The Mall...Semi-Precognitive - 2/14/11

Going through my dream journal last night, I discovered some odd lineups between my dreams and the events that were to occur a couple of months later.

I dreamed about hospitals, surgeries, and biopsies quite a bit. A couple of months later, close to Thanksgiving, I discovered I had a medical condition that required a biopsy, and then outpatient surgery. I even did end up in the emergency room due to complications from the procedure.

Keep in mind that I hadn't even made a doctor's appointment yet when I was having these dreams. I had no idea anything was even wrong with me. Just one day around that time, I knew I needed to make a doctor's appointment, so I did.

Around the same time, I was dreaming about an Indian man who was out to kill me, but I was oddly attracted to him regardless of that fact. In the dream I knew he was dangerous, but I ignored that fact. Within the dream, I even had a feeling it was precognitive.

On Halloween, right before my diagnosis, I met someone at a party, just like in this dream. He wasn't Indian, but everything else fit really well. I was very attracted to him, but he turned out to be a dangerous psychopath (no exaggeration...I'm still recovering from all that mess).

So...thoughts? I can't shrug this off as a coincidence any more; it's happened too many times. I know they aren't accurate to a T, but the same basic situations take place that did in my waking life, especially in the hospital dreams. Anyone else have any experiences like this?

Yeah, there are to many coincidences, there is no way these are just mere coincidences, these are definitely precognitive dreams. It doesn't have to be a perfect match in order for it to be precognitive, as you said, the basic situation was there.

EDIT: I don't think I had any situations like this. The closest thing I had was when I had a weird dream where Sivason sent me an email the only part I remember is "lucid dream reflection 3d8" and a few days later I discover his post in the beyond dreaming section where he talked about the OHM symbol and then someone pointed out that the ohm symbol looks like a 3D8.

You can see the 3 you can see the D and the eight is sorta a combination of the two, although it resembles the infinity symbol the most at the bottom the infinity symbol is just a horizontal 8 anyway. It isn't perfect but you can definitely see it.

That definitely could have been a little precognitive. When it's that specific, it's hard to brush it off as mere coincidence. I bet if you keep recording your dreams, you'll see more lineups like that. Glad to see I'm not the only one who's had that experience.

I'm honestly afraid to back track on my dream journals, I've had several occurrences in them that leaves me speechless. I remember seeing some older threads related to this, and some people thought it would be conscious "hiccups" of some sort. But to me, I also agree that these are more than just coincidences. Some of the people I read posts on older threads seem to really believe it's apophenia or derived phenomenon of it, but most of the time, they don't take the liberty of analyzing like you just did.

I remember one dream where I was walking on the sidewalk going back to my apartment after finishing Chemistry Lab, and a white truck passed in front of me on the sidewalk. I didn't really think of it as anything special, until I just happened to have Chemistry Lab THAT same day, and as I'm going to the same path I did in the dream, a white truck of a similar model and the same white color passes behind me.

It took me a while to realize this, and even though it wasn't much, it was an eye-opener, for me at least.

It's the dreams that are more focused on waking life rather than giving me vague metaphors and symbolism (like a dream I had last night with someone with black angel wings) that have more of an impact to me because it's easier to interpret them.

Anyway, just giving a little of what I experienced.

That's so crazy that those kind of sync-ups happen...it seems that it's a more common phenomenon than many would think. Thanks for sharing your experience! It's so mind-blowing when that stuff happens. O_O
