What position for astral travel / OBE?

Before i begin, sorry if this is a repost. i don't know if there's another one like this.

What position do you use to prepare yourself for astral travel / OBE? Many say that lying on your back (chest up) in bed is the best one. Is this the best one? Are there other good positions (chest down, sitting, ...)?
I've tryed the "chest up" a few times with no results but this is not my preferred one. I sleep with my chest down, because i get more comfortable like this. Can this position be good for astral travel / OBE?

i might be wrong but i think you can convert a lucid dream to a so called astral travel, and the same for obe.

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

This is my optimal position for obe/ap coupled with the indirect techniques posted on obe4u.com.
It is easy to fall asleep in this position when I'm sleepy and groggy.

"when you fall unconscious, what your mind expresses is a dream.
When you are aware, what your mind expresses is creativity. It creates your life.
When you are in a higher state of consciousness, it not only creates the life of whatever you want, but also on whom ever you want". -LifeBlissFoundation

I too fall asleep easier in this position. The problem is that my arm gets numb, because my body is pressing the arm. Sometimes i wake because my arm is tingling.

Exactly what happens to me, sometimes I can counter that, I will try and explain it if I can, let me think though
