Is it fake Astral Projection?

hello everyone! m a new Lucid Dreamer and trying to do LD since almost 1 month. Where I have already induced some short of LD's. At the same time m trying to do Astral Projection. Where so many time I had sleep paralysis and forced myself move or asked my spirit guide to help me get out. Most of the time when m out i find me in a different place. Which is not my room but a different room where there is also a bed and it seems like I was laying down on this bed of the new room. Just like today's experience, I found myself in an unknown room when i was trying to project. But during that time I felt that this was my own room. The reason I think this was not OOBE because, I know when m Projecting out of my body, I won't hear or touch anything. But, in my one I was hearing and touching stuffs from there, at the same time, I was flying in that room. Another thing is that, I can't look at my physical body, when m in that type of fake Astral Projection dream. When I try to look down where my body supposed to be, my vision just starts to mess up. I also want to improve my LD skills. I will talk abt it in another thread. But, for now please someone help me to get rid of those fake project and induce a real one. I know real one is so real because, someone who is very close to me has induced it already, when she even didn't know abt it and got afraid by seeing her own body, thinking she's dead then i asked her abt the silver cord and she said that, there was a link with her physical and non physical body and which was shiny. Therefore, if someone can have it when he/she is not even acknowledged abt it, why can't I, whilst trying? plz help!

It is a very delicate balance as obe's merge into dreaming and vice versa making it difficult to have a 'solid' obe projection. I find the best stuff comes when you don't expect it because your thoughts and mind needs to be in exactly the correct place for an obe to occur. (I had a shared dream last Saturday accidentally with somebody I just met while my current objective was to share a dream with my friend) I have had many OBE's in the past, now they go straight into WILD's/false awakenings which start of as a semi OBE and quickly fall into a dream. (one thing to note that within an OBE you may not always be able to see your real body or even a silver cord) One thing you could try is 'order' yourself to be taken to the lower plane when you find yourself in a false obe projection (This technique was suggested by the Author William Bulhman in his book 'secret of the soul')

There have been many documented cases of people not being able to 'see' their body in an OBE, I think it must be somekind of a mental block which causes this to happen. But ultimately yo are the best judge at deciding if you had an OBE or not - as you said, OBE's feel very real and if it feels anything less than it is not a OBE
