That is hard. I didn't learn how to do it, even after tens of years.
For me it is question: how to throw blinds of dream away ? Dream is fundamentally different from OBE. Different mind state.

      Hi!

I've had two OBEs from lucid dream state now, both of them not intentional (sort of). First one happened when I asked "Show me unconditional love" from a lucid dream. Here's the link to that thread post if you want to read about my experience: http://www.dreamviews.com/beyond-dre...-question.html

The second time happened this morning, I really think I astral projected/OBE'd from a lucid dream, and they are different states! You know how in a WILD you feel vibrations/sleep paralysis as you go into dream state consciously? Well, I was trying to summon the man I love into my dreams, and doing so required great concentration from me. As I concentrated, my minds eye had a black hole that grew larger. Instead of creating a DC of him in my dreams, I went through that black tunnel, felt strong vibrations similar to the transition from waking state to dream state. This time, however, it was from dream state to astral realm. After the vibrations calmed, I floated out of my dream body, in a different sort of dream environment (but still in my bedroom). I felt afraid shortly afterwards, and followed my cord back into my body. I felt the vibrations again, and was back into lucid dream state.

Hope this helps in any way!
