Thread: A world falling apart

I would first like to say that i have been a lucid dreamer since i was a child. I've always known that i was in a dream. Sometimes i choose to control them and other times i like to see where my imagination takes me. If it's a situation that i like i will continue, and see what i want to see. If it is a bad situation....I like to fly!!! In my opinion the untimate lucid dream expirence is controlling to a certain degree, and letting your imagination do a little on it's own. Next i will share my lucid/imaginal dream i had this yesterday morning.

The beginning of my dream i was shopping with my mother and my son at a store we always shop at, when i started seeing items that would normally be very expensive on sell for a dollar. That is when i knew that i was dreaming. we shopped and went ouside, but when we went outside i noticed that there were hundreds of tall buildings all around. ( i live in small town in real) I remembered that i had left my son in a shopping cart inside the store, and was about to go back in to get him, when i looked up at the moon. (In my lucid dreams i know that when i look to the sky i will see something great about to happen.) There was a big red circle the color of blood in the middle of the moon. I went and told my mom, who was sitting there smoking a cigarette, that if she knew what was about to happen she wouldn't be smoking. she just told me to go and get my son. i seen my son down one of the isles sitting in a cart, and about that time buildings started crashing down everywhere in front of me and him. I was devastated and thought to wake up because i was so sad that i knew i just lost him, i tried to make a building fall on me, so that i would wake up, but a force greater than i kept me there wanting me to live.

I was then back in my small town and i ran into a small store and grabbed a hand full of ice, because i was so thirsty from running ( i could actually feel the thirst). A couple young men told me i better find secluded shelter because there was no law, complete chaos was surrounding us from everywhere. I saw men driving around in trucks with guns, shooting whoever they saw. I hid in a little slab of tin slanting from a shed. The grass had not been mowed, so you could not see me where i was lying. It seemed like hours went by and then there were 3 girls singing outside where i lay. I came out and there were people standing everywhere looking at all the destruction around. One man asked me if i lost anyone, and i told him yes, i lost everyone in my family.

I went into a building and a woman handed me a brown paper sack, and told me that i would need the things inside later. Inside the sack was school papers from when i was very young. So i decided to read one of them. There was a sentence that i had wrote on a piece of paper dating back to 1982, i would have been in in the first grade. It said fish and science are the same. ( i have no idea what that meant but i'm trying to figure that one out!!) anyhow last part of the dream i found my way back home, collected some clothing, grabbed a few things from the cabinets, and stood and my back door open, and said "well here i go" and that was it. Then i said to myself, i have been dreaming for hours, i better wake up. I had only been asleep one hour!!! wow that was cool
