Punching And Kicking People In Dreams

Doesn't it feel great to hurt people in dreams?

To me, it is very relaxing to punch or kick somebody! I had a dream last night that I kicked a guy in the face. Boy, did that feel good or what?

And the fact that he couldn't hurt me made it even better! I felt like a superhero!

Whenever I attack people in lucid dreams I wake up immediately after. For me, non-violence is the path.

I usually hurt them, if they bother me. Other than that, i feel guilty attacking something that is innocent, esp because it's a part of my mind.

I've been hurt so many times, It feels so relaxing to beat somebody up in my mind. In reality, I would never dream of doing anything of that sort.

Same, it an be relaxing and quite rewarding, until they are unbeatable. That's when it gets annoying.

It's weird because sometimes I kick some serious ass ninja-style, and other times it's like I'm trying to punch someone underwater (no force behind the hit). It is fun to fight in dreams, though - since I've never been in a real physical fight in real life.

I'm always badass at fighting when I'm lucid, but ...there's this one..old..blind..oriental...

Gah.. ...It's an old wound, and a long journal entry, but I tell you his ASS IS MINE, next time!

oneironaut , I think the term is asian... oriental is for inanimate things like rugs and vases and shiat

But back on topic, Yeah I love fighting people when in lucid/normal dreams but I'm never the aggressor and I almost always win... Wont DCs ever learn...

I mostly strangle people in my dreams, since I'm mostly not able to punch with force in my dreams, because I lie on my side or stomach while sleeping pretty often.
I think violence in dreams is exciting and fun, but there are exceptions, of course.

Nah, it's also used for the people of the Asian region, although, before looking it up just now to double check, I didn't realize that it was the least prefered (and more offensive) of the two, so I'm replacing it with Asian, anyway.

Thanks, though. But yeah, I'm never the aggressor in my dreams either. I've got enough weird DC's floating around in my head, that I never have to worry about being the one to start a fight. lol.

My kicking was very rapid. I think he was Mike from Nickelback, as he looked sorta like him.

I am not usually violent, as I said earlier. Maybe violence is a dream sign?

Could be if you arent an aggressive person in real life. I guess it depends on the person.

I am usually very kind and gentil- honestly.

Buses must also be another dream sign- or a sign that I'm stressed out about buses- I had my 10th bus dream a week ago.

Buses eh? I seem to stressed about school...that would explain the majority of my dreams this week taking place at school...

I almost missed it once- now I seem to have many dreams about missing the bus! ITS SO ANNOYING!!!

At the end of one bus dream, though, I said to myself. "Oh no, I had anoither dream about missing the bus again," But I am not sure whether I was awake or not.

If I wasn't, would that make me lucid?

Yea, that must suck to have buses in your dreams alot. Well, if you have a bus dream again, simply jump in front of it or try to attack it. This way, if nothing bad occurs, you'll know its a dream. In real life, you obviously wouldn't because you would know thats suicidal, but dreams can sometimes eliminate one's ability to reason. Thus, do something crazy and you can easily become lucid. Hope that helps.

I'll keep that in mind when I dream tonight.

I still wonder why I never became Lucid while I died 7 times in a row.

Dying sometimes isnt a dream sign, due to the fear and the sensation i guess. I personally i have felt pain, like a couple nights before i was being gunned down by a machine gun (damn that hurt), but yea emotional feeling is common as well.

I've felt both physical and emotional pain in dreams before. Most of the physical pains are gunshot wounds and when I wake up, the pain lingers. Emotionally, I've woken up crying or laughing before - but in those cases, I couldn't remember why I was crying or laughing.

its actually never occured to me to attack anyone in a lucid...don't think it would be very entertaining, and i'd probably just wake up.

although, it'd be fun to rub my sweaty nutsack in george W's face

Don't give me ideas. Killing people, (and being killed) are common in my dreams.

Maybe Bush will be my next target? (If I become Lucid, that is!)

It does feel incredibly great to kick someone's ass in a dream. And to do all the other sadistic stuff I've done to dream chars.

Mind you, I USUALLY don't hurt anyone in dreams unless they provoke me. Then it's no holds barred. I do strange stuff to dream chars that I never ever would have come up with irl. Kind of freaky...but still fun.

Never try to go into a dream with a specific plan of attack. It just comes to me as the dream scene happens. Don't think I could ever conciously come up with the sick stuff my subconcious is capeable of inflicting.

I voted no, and I don't like to be violent. It's a lot more rewarding to outsmart them, I think. I don't even have to be lucid to do that. I remember having one dream where a Piston Honda looking fellow was after me. As I looked at him, I sternly said "Fall Over!" as I pointed at him. He did a James Bond video game move where he stumbled for a good three seconds before collapsing.

This is one area I have really wanted to improve while dreaming. Either I become afriad of the attacker, while not lucid, or I'll knock the snot out of someone, when I don't need to do that. It seems like it always finds it's way back after a lot of dreams without confrontations.
