I own a soft $1400 pillowtop matress set I bought to help me relax after a long day.
I do martial arts (a Korean style called Hoi Jeon Moo Sool), which is very circular, so there is not much force on the joints. I do stretching in this art so I get pretty limber as well.

Anyway when I relax at night, my muscles sometimes get a little achy. I use brainwave generator to help me relax, and I go in and out of consciousness probably for an hour or so. The problem is, I cannot ever completely lose all feeling of touching my bed. Whether it be my legs or the back of my head.

I've done techniques similar to the 61-point technique, use hypnosis. I don't want to become dependent on any medication for relaxation, so I don't use any for that (just B6 to help with visualization).

Anyway, what am I doing wrong, or what would my body be telling me in that I cannot completely lose all feeling while still remaining conscious?
