      ive seen ufo's

Ever since i was in third grade.they disapeared for a few years and now their back.every body keeps telling me their planes but im pretty sure these things arent planes. They make no noise at all, look like little flickering balls of light and move slowly in circles.their mostly white, but sometimes have a yellowish tint.Every once in a while they zip away freakishly fast in a random direction. They also go back and forth in the distance, and once one of them got a little close to the house and was so bright i had to squint to look at it. They only appear at night.

if anyone else has seen something like this please let me know, because these things are REALLY starting to freak me out.(and no one belives me!)

where do you live? Some places have higher sight ratios, so I am just curious. I remember reading an article where an entire city in Mexico witnessed a UFO.

dont feel crazy UFO does stand for unidentified flying object

Hi there, have you thought of taking pictures or video of the phenomena? What you need to do is gather as much detail as possible, that way people will have a fuller idea as to what you've seen, and stand more chance of identifying it (be it aircraft or otherwise).

Look at this descriptive narrative that he is using. He is describing points of light. Airplanes have running lights. Then, during landing approach they use their landing lights which are very bright... as bright as arc lights.

When he speaks of the lights moving, he does not describe movements by degree across the night sky. Are the circles covering a few degrees, which can be accounted for by the 'wandering eye' syndrome (where a stationary point appears to move around), or is the arcs and circles covering 60 degrees or more of the night sky? Well, given what we are told, we can suppose he speaks of the Wandering Eye Syndrome.

So, no. to give credibility to a UFO Sighting we would have to hear of a UFO close up enough where it can be described with some resolution and detail. What has to be described must be significantly different from any airplane (and now that the Americans are flying around their B2 Stealth Bombers, that are somewhat Saucer Shaped, that will be increasingly difficult).

There is no shortage of upclose detailed descriptions and so no time should be wasted on these inferier and useless sightings.

People should hold their tongues until they have something significant to report. Ambiguous Sightings only feed the Cause of those who Doubt.

They think all reports are as dubious as your own.

Yeah, but she could at least try to get some sort of decent, moving image, then maybe someone can identify it, which is most likely an aircraft.

That said, re-reading it they sound like fireflies in the distance to me. Either way, pics would be a help!

First off, the poster did not post this as "here is concrete proof"
She was merely asking if anyone else has witnessed something like this.

if anyone else has seen something like this please let me know,[/b]
Your long winded smart-ass post never even came close to answering the actual question. So thanks again for yet another useless contribution from you.

      imacrazymonkey!!:

I have seen some things that you might find interesting. These events occured in a very rural part of Central Florida where I used to live. Lots of trees, dirt roads, very few houses etc. The area I came from was very hilly, we were walking up a dirt road. Suddenly there was an intense white light that surrounded us as far as I could see. When it came on there was a sound - kind of like a whoosh sound. The light was so sudden and intense it knocked me and my friend back on our asses. My first thought was I was about to get run over by a truck or something. But there were no cars on the road, no sound other than the initial whoosh! I don't know if anyone else comes from the country but you always hear animals n such at night - to NOT hear anything in the country is very eerie. The light stayed on for a good 10 seconds - which seemed like forever at the time. Then as you describe I saw a small light in the sky which turned and flew away. The speed it moved was much faster than a commercial airplane, that and it moved in a circular fashion - again no sound for something moving so fast. (I lived in another area where jets flew by all the time - they moved quicky as well but there was always a roaring when they came by and did not manuver anywhere near as well) Whatever it was - it was no jet!

I also used to see the white light at night from inside my bedroom. This made no sense becuase my backyard had about 7-8 feet behind my window before the treeline of the forest. Even if a car got back there the headlights should have been moving up and down with the bumps of the ground. A vehicle would have to have been directly in front of my window facing in, and again there was no sound at all.

well I get the same thing too

I've narrowed it down to lint in my eye, because it happens indoors sometimes too

its hard to explain, but put a piece of hair in a bathtub and you will see the same images on the bottom of the tub

if it doesnt look the same then its either what leo volont said or its... a ufo!

thanks, spaceflower (by the way, i love your username)

what you witnessed seems very intense! I probably would of wet my pants and the thing you've seen in your backyard sounds JUST LIKE what i see.The only problem with this whole thing is i live in a suburban type neigborhood and dont think ive seen any stories on the news.My friend did say she saw something once but i cant remember what she said.

      potato soop,

thanks, but im sure its not lint in my eye(although i know what you mean by the lint) cause it only only appears in the sky and moves around behind trees.

how would you know it was 10 seconds when your only reccollection of the event was your own memory, where your memory tells you it "seems like forever" obviously more than 10 seconds?

Ive seen the same thing too. I'd have to somewhat agree with Leo... If only we could have a better sighting. Like something metalic in the daytime and not these silly lights that drive us all nuts.
Video and photos help, but they dont cut it for me. It is way too easy to fake these things now. I'd have to see for myself.
However, I totally believe the phenomina is real (people must be seeing something more than lint in their eyes) and alien visitation is highly possible if not likely; The size and age of the universe alone should be enogh to tell us that.

thats what i have been trying to tell my friends and family for the longest time now, but they look at me like im nuts I look for them in the daytime and dont see a thing, in fact i havent been seeing them that much at all lately. Im worried that i might never get those pics. This happens every once in a while though, they dissapeared for a few years once.

I sometimes at the corner of my eye see like a white bright spark almost, and when I turn to look it's gone.

      Doesn't happen often, but it's probably... I don't know

I've seen the same when laying down and then standing up really fast so I don't think it's anything major.

everyone knows our sense of time is tied to our emotions. like the saying: "time flies when you are having fun". When you are bored or scared your mind knows about how long it has been - but in my case, in that 10 seconds or so, a million thoughts raced through my head. I felt so exposed and vulnurable, like i was a tiny helpless ant underneath a magnifying lens.

As far as the experience I had - I'm not saying it was an alien. But I do know this, whatever it was is unlike anything I have ever seen. Could it be some experimental govt secret? Possibly. Alien? Possibly. The point is I beleive in the possibility becuase what I did see was an Unidentified Flying Object

Sadly the only ones having concrete proof of the existance of UFO's is your good ol' gov. And what do you know, they think you're not ready to know yet lol. They fear mass panic, hysteria etc. How many fighter pilots do you think saw one of those, not counting everyone else they warned to keep it for themselves or else.

Who knows why they hide those facts at all cost.

They do exist, you have to be very close minded to think that we're the only ones in the universe. And also why wouldn't they come, we send into space thousands of microwaves from hundreds of TV programs everyday since TV came out in the 50's. If it reaches satellites, it dosn't just stops there lol, it goes on into space till something catches it, like the sound of the millions of stars SETI listen to every day.
And if they did receive it, they're not that far.Say TV came out in 1950 we've been sending waves into space since then, so if microwaves travel at light speed they could be less than 50 light years from here
Bad part is they'll be listening to those oldTV shows (Jacky Gleason, the family stone, leave it to beaver etc loll...)
Everything looks much better from up there

Coolio i think UFO's and aliens do exist(notic i said UFO and alin's...UFO dosn't always mean an alien it could be something elso but mostly aliens).

Right this is the best saying in the whole universe: The universe would be boring without life. You have to admit thats true because without life all you see are bits of rocks and radioactive flamable gases just being there for no purpose.

I wouldn't mind seeing aliens but then again i'm affraid of what they could do. Think about anything what can cross the universe with ease is a bit dangerous even if their really nice.

Why the gov keeps it away is easy. Most of us have been brain washed and its all thanks to hollywood because there is only two films which where aliens have landed and are nice but a thousand films in which their evil(famous films of cause). This is why the gov keeps it away because their sacared of improvement and their scared that we will crush them with our crys of fears. I also think the gov want to be the ones who acturly discover alien life then alien life discover us so they can't land on earth or be near it they have to send out big hunks of junk (im not saying their pointless but still).

Anway theres two things what bug me a lot about aliens.
Why can't they just do a full scale invasion but not shoot at us but say "Hi we're nice and civil and we think you need help in your improvements and in society and many other things"
PLUS the gov will just shoot them down without a care.
Thats why im a bit fustrated with aliens...They don't have the guts to come down and be friendly and say nice things Plus some aliens out there could have advance way before we where all born and explored more galaxie then anyother alien life has.

To be honest i would like to see aliens contact all of earth and be friendly with us before i die because it be nice that we opened minded people were right HA PLUS it would acturly be nice.

(If any alien is reading this then im sorry that i think that your a bit gutless even if you have a good reason because it would be nice if you could stop our wondering and acturly get an answear...sorry if i have offened you if you don't have acturl guts) Im not an alien freak but you can never be to sure.
Im not afraid of the dark, its whats in it.
*the lights turn off and the whole room goes dark*
Oh im fin- Ahhhhhhhh its a scary figment of my imagination.
