Shadows

Thought this deserved its own thread. You all know what shadows are right? Shadows are those things we see out the corner of our eye and when we look it vanishes. Thoughts? I've seen shadows a few times, most recent would be about a year ago. Not sure what I think about them, but they aren't optical illusions and such. IMO they're some sort of living beings.

I know what you're talking about, and I always play them off as I'm seeing things, or a trick of the light. I've heard people (psychics and such) say that they are energies of people/animals/whatever, just on a different plane than we are. And usually if you think you saw something, you probably did. I'm not sure if I actually believe that, but I can't be so naive to say that it's not out of the realm of possibilities.

Off topic, but still very interesting; when we dropped the bomb on Japan in WWII, it burned peoples shadows onto the walls and they say you can still see them to this day. Don't know if I believe it, but if so, simply amazing and sad.

[/b] IMO shadows are when something blocks the light and dark things are created on the ground in the shape of the blocked light.

Yeah, one of my old teachers came into class one day with a bunch of pictures from over there, showing the sillhouettes (or however the hell you spell that word) of people burned against the walls. Horrible and fascinating at the same time. He also brought in a glass coke bottle. The bottom half of the coke bottle was behind something solid, like a steel beam or something, the top half was exposed to the blast. So the bottom half of the coke bottle was completely normal, but halfway up, the bottle was bent straight back at a 90 degree angle, as if the top half was made out of putty, pulled backward, and turned back into glass in that shape. Crazy shit.

From wat I hear... If you look at it from a Psycological view point... Its ur subconcious showing you in dream form hidden aspects of yourself. Whether its meant to be shown or meant to be hidden.

I've actually seen shadows move, and no, it wasn't hypnogogic imagery, nor was it a trick of the light, it was in plain sight, and my brother saw it as well.
