that is really cool. I have never shared an experience like that before and I guess I'm thankful. I'd hate for my Hubby to know what I dream about lol.

I believe you had a false awakening. They can be very convincing.

Sounds like you could've had a false awakening, or you could have woken up and acidentally knocked her making her wake up.
I'm not really sure about dream sharing, for me its one of the things I'd have to see to believe.

If we consider todays known things about the human brain, and so on, the answer would be no.

I'm sorry, I can't actually say one way or the other..
I haven't had an undeniable experience with it,
but,
I do believe it's possible.
I think it would quite difficult to do if not 'spiritually connected' to the person, as you put it,
but,
still managable.

.. but that's just me, and I believe in some pretty wild stuff, hehe.

Hi there.I actually joined up just to reply to your post,I usually dont bother. What you experienced is something that I have experienced a number of times and it is definately not a false awakening.I was sceptical at first but when somebody told me about a dream they had involving me and I had the same dream(nearly exactly),I was convinced.Since this time,I have had 2 more.I figure that you have pulled your wife into your dream for whatever reason, and forgive me if im wrong, you are "connected" to the source and this gives you the ability to influence others dreams. If you are, then you'll know what I mean.I bet you can do other shit too.Pretty scary when you think about the ramifications.I don't believe that only close friends or relatives are the only people whose dreams you can enter,it's just that you don't know the other people in your dreams and they dont know you.I believe this happens because your dream body needs these people/person in your dream for whatever reason,so it "calls" them(cant think of a better way to put it). This is a very powerful trait, one that is uncontrollable(there's some lucid dreamers out there that would hate that)and one that is very rare.It would be very easy to pass this off as impossible but in this crazy world,is there such a thing?Only you know.

Sure it is possible.
I had a precog dream, and if recog dreams exist, than it's highly possible that all other paranormal phenomena that has been reported by people to also exist ( Such as shared dreams, telepathy, clairvoyance etc ).
A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service

One thing I can add to this is that I have 3 year old identical twin boys that always talk to each other in their sleep. So I have to assume that they are dreaming the same dream. They will have complete conversations with each other and yet if I try to say something to wake them, they don't even know I'm speaking.

That is pretty cool and I think it is possible. If you are sleeping next to somebody then that could even be explained by brainwaves becoming linked or something like that. Afterall, our thoughts are small electrical impulses, and it should not be impossible for them to be able to enter somebody elses brain.

Atleast that's what I think =)

I really don't think that means anything. I was half-asleep at a scout camp a couple years ago and a scoutleader told me to wake up. I told him that 'I know, Jacob already told me.'
?
However, that doesn't mean I won't try and share dreams with people.

I never had this experince before, but I think its possible. We hardly know anything of what our braincs can do..and we only use 10% of our brain. this can be a type of psychic power like someone else mentioned before. I wouldn't like to have a shared dream to be honest lol

I wonder how psionics actually works, anyhow?

A neural field?
Controling the "astril"/Spirit body?
Commanding "imps"?

were does shared dreaming happen?

Mind you, scientists know VERY little about the brain. (Seriously, I found this out while studying AI and the binary language)

Hey,how are you?Sorry I took so long to get back to you.I don't know if there is any connection as far as the army side of things goes, but when i go lucid,I can certainly give orders, follow commands, join in a group event, plan ahead, return to previous places of the same dream etc.In a normal dream state,I always have the sense or recollection of being nothing more than a by-stander or observer. Also, the complexity of the people that I encounter in ld's never ceases to amaze me.The feeling of interaction that I not only acheive, but also remember in the waking state,is bizarre.I can understand how some people come up with the explanation that it is the brain making these people up from composites of people that you know or have met,but i've yet to hear this explanation from someone who has obtained full lucidity.Although I could never prove it,I sincerly believe that these are real people.Im sure the majority of lucid dreamers out there would agree with me.Replies?Whether or not these people are other lucid dreamers and you are all dreaming the same event,or you can call on the dream body of lucid dreamers you have met in the past to join you, remains to be seen.I really wouldn't have a clue. But it's bloody interesting, isn't it.If it is just a trick of the mind, why cant I,in the waking state, write a shit-hot movie script or novel? Some lucids would be instant blockbusters,as far as i'm concerned.I just can't accept that the events in my lucids are the product of my actions, thoughts or emotions from the waking state, carrying over into my dreaming state. My normal dreams yes,but my lucids-no way!See,for a long time,I thought I was attaining lucidity, but until it really happened,I didn't really understand the profound impact that a full lucid has. It's like starting again. The shit is real!I'd really like to hear other people's thoughts on this too.Anyway.it's been good chatting to you again bendstringz(guitar reference?-i'm a teacher),let me know if this was any help.Take it easy.

Many of you will be skeptical of this post as was I when it happened. I, regrettably, was a pagan awhile ago. While I was searching for certain experiences for me to try I came across the "out-of-body guide". Now, I realize that many of you are even more skeptical than before but please read on. I have successfully experienced one that I have induced onto myself, now as it was late in the night I wanted to confirm that were I went in my, I guess you would call "dream state", was accurate. I in this state I walked to my friends house in which she lay sleeping (yes you do see the plaster and framing when you walk through a wall.), I then dipped my "head", so to speak, into hers and was immediately immersed in darkness. She as her dream representation of herself was at a park, I came up to her and attempted to speak to her. Now this is were it becomes odd, it seems as though everyone has a different subconscience logic as when she spoke it came out garbled and very, well, annoying. Granted this may have been apart of her dream in the first place but the next day she told me that I was in her dream and all I did was "screech" at her.

Well that is my experience, make of it what you will.

The only time I ever had a close unvalidated experience of a shared dream was when me and my brother at over a relatives, and we were both sleeping on the floor. I remember a dream, he was there, and there were two other random dream characters. We were walking, and he was left behind. I hear him say "hey!", and I turn around, and at the very moment I wake up, wide awake, and I was laying in a position facing my brother, and I see/hear my brother (sleep talk saying), "Wait for me!"

And then I sit there thinking "no way....", and I shook him awake, and just as luck would have it, he did not remember a thing, didn't recall any dream at all. The sudden awakening must have erased the dream immediatly. Oh well.

Trying to enter other people's dreams sounds like what they were trying to do here.
http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/inde...howtopic=37915
Sure, they were aiming for lucidity, but I think that project would have gone over better if they were trying to enter other people's dreams, or trying to influence dreams by sending an image, like we are trying to do on my Dream Team over at Sealifedreams.com (Sorry, teams are private forums, gotta join a team if you want to see what's happening inside)

Earlier this year, I dreamt of a girl on my dream team who I had never met or seen a picture of, and she confirmed my desctiption. ANd it wasnt no vague description either, I really dreamt of her. She doesnt remember that dream, but my description of her was bang on.
