Have a look at this: http://www.geohanover.com/docs/pendulum2.htm

I've given it a try, and it's pretty freaking cool. I managed to pinpoint the date I got a scar on my knee, by asking my subconscious a series of yes/no questions. I also slowly managed to find out my subconscious' name - Besvaqi. Odd name.

Using this technique, I could potentially find out things that have traumatised me, and the origins of other stuff!

I don't know how much I believe in this but it seems pretty interesting. I'll have to try this out.

Cool. That is a common thing well skilled hypnotists do is set up a nonverbal yes/no system.

In one story a woman came in complaining her legs were numb all the time. The hypnotist said something like." I would like to speak directly to your feet, now i know there is something important you're trying to tell her". Her feet twitched and she gasped in amazement. he then set up a signal system right foot twitch for "yes" and left foot for "no". He then said. "don't you understand that the way in which you are trying to communicate obviously isn't helping her to understand the problem." the feet didn't move, he then said," and don't you think this might be harmful to her." and suddenly the right foot twitched "yes". he then said "OK, don't you think there could be a better way to let her know what it is you are trying to communicate?" the right foot twitched again. "ok now restore all felings to her legs. begin now!". And feeling to her feet returned.

And later on, whenever she indulged in the behavior that was harmful to her, the legs would go completely numb and she would fall over. so now the numbness was actually helping her with a problem.

Wow, that's awesome! It's like those goats who's legs get stiff when they get a shock or get scared, if you run suddenly into a group of them they all fall over stiff legged!

Hmm... I am not sure if I buy that pendulum swinging stuff, though if it is just your brain telling your fingers to move maybe it's possible. i will have to try it sometime in the future.

That's pretty cool, does it have to be pendulum though? Can I just hang like a rock from a string or something? I'm actually interested in trying this.

10000000000000000000 words in that text perhaps I'll read it later, sounds interesting

I will read this now. This sounds interesting. I never thought that you could self-hypnotize yourself and set up unconscious yes/no on yourself. This brings many possibilities to mind.

While i was listening to my induction last night i decided to set up a yes/no signal. it took a while but whenever my left hand twitched involuntarily it meant "yes". and the other "no". I'm convinced my unconcious has a sense of humor. every once in a while i would check again to verify the system and the yes/no system would switch to the other hand lol.

If this technique allows you to set up yes/no, maybe and I don't want to answer, how did you get a name out of your subconscious? Did you go through the alphabet one by one?

Is the first letter of your name A?no B?no C?no......that must have taken long.

I find this technique very interesting and the article was well constructed. I will try the pendulum thing.

I did a few more experiments with my subconscious. One of them was about finding out its favourite song. It happened to be The Postman Song by Stevie D. I found this out by asking what year/month it was released. It also thought it was a metal song, which it obviously isn't. I don't think the subconscious has an opinion.
