I had a dream that was not lucid but very interesting.
It was not remote viewing or astral projection either. But a dream about it.

      In short.

      I had gotten Alzheimers disease.
In the dream I used astral projection to project my consciousness to very close to the speed of light. Almost turning into light myself.
As a result time slowed down. My mind perceived perception as reality.
I went on to use this for treatments. My brain did not age. The Alzheimers did not get better but it did not progress.
I must be watching to much House> The TV show.

Hehe, interesting. I wonder if any wonder cures have been created from dreams telling people what to do? Anyone know?

Who knows. If there was if they were taken seriously.
I have heard of dream signs pointing to illness that you have prior to you knowing it.

In the dream I wanted to also stop my body from aging. But because only my psyche was in motion, that was the only area it effected.

That's interesting. The true challenge would be to teach Alzheimer's patients to lucid dream.

I also heard marijuana reduces your chances of Alzheimers...in a study done at UCLA in 2006.

Though I don't know about cures, I remember seeing somewhere about this guy in the late 1800s (or something like that), who created some kind of novel treatment for broken bones or something like that by putting himself in a deep trance, or during his sleep or something. I don't remember the details, as I saw this a while ago, but I assume some people have created cures in their sleep, though I would bet that they were already working on them during the day, and something just clicked in the sleep that actually worked.

Yeah, I was reading one of my dads medical magazines which he gets because he is a doctor. It had an explanation of some conference that was on and this man asked every scientist and doctor there if they ever came up with ideas for treatments from dreams. Basically all of them just said "yeh" and shrugged it off like it was something normal. So anyway it is my opinion that if you are working on something alot your subconscious mind is taking it all in. And when you dream, connections between things are made that couldn't be made by your conscious mind. for example the person who made the helicopter may have been trying to figure out something to make it fly. During this day he may have used a fan or something. And while he was dreaming, his subconscious made the connection between the two. This is purely an example of how your brain can do things like this.

I am guessing our subconscious is capable of much more. Hopefully will will continue to probe into new territories of this region of our brains.

I know the sewing machine was aided along in its invention through dreams.
Was it Thomas Edison who also invented that?
Anyway... He had it all but completed but he was missing a key component. He had a dream that he was surround by warriors. The warriors spears had on the head of them what is today the sewing needle.
