      dreamspeak

A few times in my life I have woken up with the vivid memory of a long and interesting conversation with somebody (it might be the same person each time or possibly a group of people)
When I wake up i can remember everything that is said and what it was about but as think about the conversation its as if the words spoken have no meaning in the waking world. Usually i think "But statement doesnt make sence...what does that word mean?...what do ALL those words mean?" Then the entire conversation dissolves in my memory. It not just like forgetting a dream when I wake up, its as if my mind blots the memory out because I shouldnt remember it in the real world.
Ive often wondered what secrets would be revealed to the world if i had managed to write down everything before it evaporated in my mind.
Has anyone else felt anything like this or have any ideas what it might be?

Its same with things like, you talk in a diffirent language in your dream, like japanese or something, and understand everything said to you, and what you said yourself. I think this is because our dream bodies(astral bodies) have a greater potential then our pshysical bodies, like the ability to understand more things, even languages not of humans, the ability to understand more complicated concepts etc. For example your dream body might learn or experience something very interesting, but its so complicated that your human brain cannot handle it. That is, if you believe in seperate bodies, else this theory wont go for you =)

I've experienced things like this before, speaking other languages, and learning ways around the laws of physics.

One time I even gained the knowledge that would enable me to fly when I woke up. Sad to say, when I awoke, it didn't make sense

lucius Yes I believe in seperate bodies, i have heard of such things in astral travel. Like during an OOBE you have to not think because that will involve the physical mind, but sort of flow with the information to understand it.

seeker Thats weird, I too have had dreams where I gained to knowledge to fly in real life. It involved contracting certain muscles whilst jumping into the air, I couldnt really remember how it was done properly. The dream also told be to consult a guy called bear (who ive never met but I know he owns a shop near me) for more information.
Also when I was a kid I used to dream a lot about flying and I was convinced I had the ability to do so in the real world too.
