Thread: Had a dream of my dead Grandfather

During the night I really didn't think about it till woke up. I had a dream of my Dead Grandfather. This is the first dream in almost 2 to 3 years. The dream itself wasn't anything big, but it was just the thought afterwards that why now and why not right after his death?

Here was the dream basically my grandmother, my dad, and my grandfather. We were all in different beds watching tv shows on the tv. My in dad I remember saying something about weekends being the best. Again other then this there was nothing major about the dream other then my grandfather who died a good length of time ago was there.

Before I used to have dreams about my grandfather on my mothers side, but if I had dreams about him they were usually alone with just him in it so I do not know if there is something there about more then one family member being in the dream. My other grandfather is dead too.

Many believe dreaming is connected to the land of the dead. One of my theories of Collective Memories supports this, but I wont get into that. Alot of people contact the dead in their dreams and notice dead like side-effects (Vomit, rotted pieces of flesh, gaping wounds etc) If you become lucid in a dream where you meet a dead person, why not ask them if you are in the land of the dead?

I was dreaming about my grandmother. We were in a city which was at a very tall mountain peak. It was somehow very old city. There was a street revolving around the peak too where there was a market. With lots of stuff you can buy. I was just enjoying this when my granny came to me and told me she has a present for me. But i could not get it cos i had to wake up. Sometimes i hate to wake up.
