      Dreaming of people you meet the next day??

      Alright guys. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I'm pretty much still a new person to these boards and just wanted to ask a question a long time ago when I was experimenting with lucid dreaming and dreams.

      Anyways... I'm back on here and would like to answer another question, because this has been happening a lot lately.

      I go to bed have a dream about someone and the next day I hear from them. This isn't really with people that I see all the time. It's with people I hardly see or hear from. I have some friends that we haven't talked in awhile and relatives that this has happened with.

      About a few weeks ago I dreamed of my friend Benny from school who graduated about 2-3 years ago. Haven't heard from him since when finally he pops up on my myspace (not sure if you can say that on here sorry) for a friend invite.

      Another week or so ago I dream of my cousin Beth we are in the backseat of a car and she hands me a guitar and tells her to play it for her. She came that day to my house and wanted me to play my guitar for her. There was no mention of her ever coming over I had no clue.

      My friend that I don't talk to much, but we are good friends. We keep in touch on a weekly/monthly basis now. Since I graduated highschool. I dreamed of him one night and he called the next day wanting to go somewhere. I know this isn't a big coincidence, but the thing is he never calls me I always call him.

      So do you think these are coincidences or definitely something going on? BTW, when I say the next day I mean the day that i wake upon from the dream.

      I personally don't think these are coincidences, a lot of people (not refering to this forum) think they are.

      I used to wash dishes at a local resteraunt. Two months before I ever set foot in that place I had a dream that I was working there and was listening to a conversation the waitress's were having about the weather. And the oldest of them walked up and asked me for a specific kind of cup. About four months later after working there for a while the exact same thing happend. The conversation was pretty much the same, same waitress, everything.

      It's happend to me a few other times. Like having a dream about a souped up old roadster that i've never seen before. Later that week I go downtown to fill up, and it's at the pump right in front of me...

      Just a couple of mine, I know there's people here that could tell you way more about it.

      I don't think it's a coincidence, it's happened to me before so I couldn't think of it as a coincidence. I've had dreams that not only show people who at the current moment don't know but will know in the next week, month, years, etc. I never forget these dreams. The words exchanged don't change. Their appearances match the dream's. Scenery's the same. They occur exactly like dreamed.

      Never had one literally the day you wake up but like I said, further in the time line.

      My only question on it is what would you call them? It could be considered deja vu but I think there's a more specific name for it...

      Had this happen earlier this week. I had a dream that me and my cousin started a mosh pit in my friends house and trashed it. I hadn't seen/heard from him in months, the next day he shows up at my house...

      My friend's formal date is from the country hundreds of kilometres away from where I live. I had a dream about him once, I hardly know him and don't even think about him. A few days later, we bump into each other at the local cinemas.

      I had two dreams, two nights in a row about having a party at my friend's house. It was my birthday in two weeks but I wasn't fussed because I had no plans for it. I also hardly ever thought about it. I hadn't seen my friends in a while because it was school holidays. The next day, my friends throw me a surprise party.

      I dreamt about Prince William and Harry and a few days after, they're on the news.

      I kind of like having these dreams . They're interesting to dwell on...
