Sure I've got an open mind if there's actually a reason to believe in something. I mean, I now believe in lucid dreaming, right?

Xei, that post wasn't directed at you. I should have clarified that. It was just in general. With our current knowledge of neuro-science!!! That's the key phrase in that sentence. You're (understandably of course) using that term to determine what is real and what is not. So as far as we THINK it is not possible. However, science has no understanding of etheric energy, and telepathic related abilities, so our current understanding of neuro-science lacks application of etheric energy (which can be measured, by the way. I saw a program where a man moved it, and they were able to show a reading of it. I'll try to find it.) and lacks an understanding of telapathy (which so far either cannot, or has not been proven).
I disagree with most of this though. I would readily believe in such concepts if there was evidence, and indeed, if they were true, then I'm sure there would be one hell of a lot of evidence.

Do remember that most scientists actually want to discover incredible things. Telepathy and the like has been tested time and time again. If it was not just wishful thinking or scams and there was evidence to back it up, sure, I'd believe it. But there isn't. So why should I believe in it?

Etheric energy sounds like pseudoscience to me, by the way. The term energy is thrown around a lot nowadays by New Ageists. Truth is, there's no such thing as energy. It's just a mathematical concept which holds true in experiments.

And telepathy, were it possible, would be extremely easy to prove.

OBEs are different, but I must say, the concept of dreamwalking seems less and less realistic to me. I was just saying to you skeptic folks to keep an open mind. Science is always prone to change, and we never know when it will.
Experiments have been done on OBEs as well. Scientists hold a piece of paper up and ask the experiencer of the OBE to tell them what is written on the back of it.

So far, although many experiments of this kind have been done, and the subjects do often report seeing what was written, it never bears any relevance to reality. Therefore the conclusion that must be made is that OBEs do not happen outside of the body.

After all, how could people see outside of their bodies anyway? The eye is an immensely complex structure, if seeing without eyes was possible, then all of that evolution would have been wasted, and such things simply do not happen in nature.
