Yeah it's possible to wake up in the middle of an REM state. I don't know if you will slip back into it immediately upon going to sleep, but I would imagine it would be rapid than if you had awoken after an REM period of sleep. |

Ok so we were chatting in the room earlier and someone said that people aren't suppose to have 8 different REM's a night? Well what's odd is I've remembered that many before. Here's usually what happen I'll wake up at night a lot of different times. I'll some times go to the bathroom and sometimes go back to sleep. I dream almost each time and can remember the dream. |

Nothing much, you eventually snap out of it. But you can have some hallucinations for a minute or two. This happens to me a lot actually. I'll wake up and use the restroom and see flashing lights, sometimes something move in the corner of my eyes. |
|
I also wouldn't cast aside the possibility of false awakenings. |

so it's hallucinations? You sound like you are experiencing something similar to me and it's always during a half-conscious state right during waking up. I've been trying to explore how deep I can go with it and had something very strange happen. I felt instead of just seeing. I tried not to be afraid of it this time and see what I can cause to happen out of it. |

Here's what happen to me yesterday. During the half-conscious state I started to see a cat on my window seal licking itself. I moved my head just a little bit and the cat disappeared. I stayed still and the cat was there licking itself again. This is why I say I had movement because I could move my body and everything. |
