      Hi

Can We see futures events in a lucid dream ?
I just find my hand in my dreams few times ( around 20 times) .
should I change my practice to WILD ?
      thanks

The future is not predicted, the potential is integrated.. :p

So, if you dream of a future event, and others maybe even share the dream...
...then that potential future, migh be realized, thus become the future event, just as dreamt/predicted/'potentialized'!

      Great question!

To heal another, merge together, and heal yourselves!
To heal yourself, merge with the universal source, and heal yourselves!

It is possible to learn. But it is not possible to impose on others...

You could learn in dreams, and recall after you wake up, yes...

      Thank yourself! I love questions!

There is no future nor past only the present moment, thus we can see what's "going to happen" (speaking in western terms) because everything is actually happening simultanously.

I have had personal experience with precognition as it is called.
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

You really cant. The future can be changed by the littlest thing. If you see yourself dropping a pen, but neglecting it and leaving it there, and because of that a foot ball that wasnt supposed to hit your head, did, and it give you brain damage, or something similiar to that, then all you would have to do is pick up the pen and bend over. The future can be decided by many different little things. There is nothing set in stone, and that is why people say there is no future, only the things that happen at the exact moment you are at. (present time).

Although, if you do look into the future like the monks did, you can see events that are supposed to happen. But im my belief, those events will only happen if a certain amount of things happen, in the right order. Its very hard to explain, but there is no exact future for anyone.

And the dreams are most likely just coincidences (sp?), not something you should look forward too.

But then again, anything is possible, and who really knows.

That is the theory of chaos. And the butterfly effect. The only way to predict future well, would be to put evry single piece of information that was found in some kinda computer and putting evrything constantly, than u will have a chance to predict something right. Or may be u can if u are some kindda witch.

Discard all theories. The only thing that matters is subjective experience.

You could see the future as you subconsciously imagine it to be but it won't necessarily be right. The the subconscious filters through information at a much faster rate than the conscious mind, so it puts the pieces of what may happen together faster as well.

The future is the future so it can change.

I think the question is more not cant u change the future, but rather cant u change the past.

      moneyfx,

My advice to you is to find an alternative bookstore and browse until something catches your attention/interest, or ask the bookseller. There are many great books out there that can start you off on endless, amazing journeys.

........and yes, dreams are often precognitive. Keep paying attention to your own and you are bound to have one sooner or later, lucid or otherwise.
