dreaming is the cause of dejavu?

      http://science.howstuffworks.com/deja-vu5.htm

I suppose everyone has precognitive dreams, whether they remember them or not. But even if you can't remember them upon awakening, they're still there stuck somewhere in your subconcious. Which is why the dejavu feeling is so strange. Because you have no idea where you remembered that experience from. It's like you've just remembered it from your subconcious. So isn't dejavu just a memory of a precognitive dream that you didn't remember after waking up? Why dont all scientists believe that this is the cause? what other explination is there?

To give out facts I heard from my brother. Dejavu is just when your brain puts a memory into the present time and mixes them both up.

The simplest explanation for deja vu is a 'write error' in the memory functions of the brain. The basic idea is that at the moment of the deja vu incident, your brain had some sort of error and actually recorded the moment twice, thus giving the illusion that it both happened 'now' and some time before 'now'.

The ability to happily respond to any adversity is the divine.

I've heard that it's because as you expirience certain situations, a part of your brain will remember it. When you expirience a similar situation, that part of the brain confuses the stored memories with the present events.

I'm no psychic, but I've had dreams about events, and those events have happened the next day. Kinda creepy...

This happens to me all, and I think they are precognitive dreams but I am not sure. When I experience the situation, it's not like I'm getting confused in the 'here and now'-'before now' situation, because sometimes I actually remember seeing the action happen. Somewhere I know I've seen it before, I remember seeing it. I have had deja-vu also, it's an entirely different experience. With the..."visions" (not really sure what they are) I know I've seen them before. When I have deja-vu I feel thoroughly confused.
