Astral Projection/Lucid dreaming/night stalkers? help?

I have some questions about astral projection (AP)/lucid dreaming (LD)... I'm a 16 yr old interested in trying it but i don't know how to actually go about doing it...it takes practice right? does anyone have any tips for me? and also...when you AP..do you actually leave your body? if so, can anything bad like an evil spirit or something enter your body or harm it in any way? has that ever happened? ditto for LD....nothing can hurt you right? what are these night stalker things i keep hearing about? can you actually go in people's dreams without consequence? sorry about all these possibly stupid questions but any help would be greatly appreciated

nothing bad can happen to you from lucid dreaming, that is to say it wont cause you any physical harm. There is the possibility of a nightmare such as is possible in a normal dream, but you can easily turn it into a good dream if it is lucid. Im not really sure what the difference between astral projection, lucid dreaming, and OBE's is. They sound so similar, I am inclined to believe everyone is talking about the same thing and just thinking they are interacting with the physical world in some way.

LDs are when you are sleeping and you know your dreaming, AP is basically what you said SunshineCupcake. And LDing can't hurt you in anyway, since you are just dreaming. I dont know much about AP's or OBE's, but I doubt anything can enter your body when trying them anyway. Hope I helped some :]

I'm actually not sure, there was a whole thread about nightstalkers. but I don't think anything can hurt you in AP or LD or any of those things, since your technically not in your body, your in some type of spirit form, nothing can hurt you. You really shouldn't worry, no one has ever got hurt, atleast to my knowledge. sorry if I'm not much help, I'm somewhat new to this.

lol it's okay i'm new too =) i've been on that thread... but i still don't get it.... anyone who is one or who has met one....are they people? are they demons?... my concern about like an obe or an ap....do you actually leave your body and if so can anything else go into it while you're "out"?

As far as I remember AP was having the feeling that you're out of your body but in some kind of unreal world. (not sure about that one) OBE is being out of your body in real world. For example you can see your body sleeping when you're out. It's like getting your spirit out of your body. (a simple way to explain it) That's why it's called Out Of Body Experience. And about those Stalkers and all that, I have no idea what they are. The thread was too long to read. lol Anyway, one thing is sure. There's no way you can get physically hurt while APs, OBEs or LDs. As soon as you get scared you wake up, or, you come back into your physical body (in AP and OBE case)

so....what about nightstalkers then? what are those anyway? can THEY hurt you in an AP? They are people who know how to do shared dreaming. And yes, they could in theory hurt you. But they don't, or at least I've never heard of it happening. The only reason I know it's possible is because I actually hurt one of them, which was the last time I ever saw them. So either they don't know how to hurt someone, or they choose not to.

Many people have died while Astral projecting. Its very dangerous , its like playing with fire. JUST KIDDING Nothing can happen to you while astral projecting.

how would anyone know if someone died while astral projecting? its like how do you know if you can die within your dreams, whos gonna know? sorry i didnt read the whole thing

Psychic/energetic attack is a possibility in or out of full astral projection. *shrugs* I suppose its possible to die but unlikely unless you piss something very big off.
