Do you mean the H.P. Lovecraft Necronomicon? I obviously don't know anything about this that isn't based in Lovecraft mythology. Did people run with this as a hoax or something?

Maybe I need to shut up and do a few google searches.

Edit: Wait, do you mean the Astral Necronomicon? Interesting idea.

yes, and no. HP Lovcraft wrote about the book, but he didn't know if it actually existed or not. . .

then (suposedly) the real Necronomicon was found written in Germanic amongst a bunch of other holy scriptures. its essentially a really really old spell book where through a simple ritual, you can summon certain gods to do your bidding. . .

      its creepy.

just wondering if anyone ever used it, if they got results. . .

An ancient spell book to summon gods who will do your bidding...I'm sure that this would be more well-known if ever it worked...

Therefore, it's probably a load of whatever your imagination decides to put here.

well, haha, not exactly to do your bidding... i should restate: they more or less offer a helping hand. . . like help you pass an exam that you would otherwise fail at, help you find an end to an ongoing argument with someone, help you find money or lost items . . . you have to think about it, even if it truly does work, most of society is so logically and scientifically based, it would never catch on...

take the sega dreamcast for example, that system was way ahead of its time, it had awesome graphics, game titles, and onlie play, but it was released into a market that wasn't ready for it. it just goes to show that even if something works and works well, the masses won't always jump for it.

haha, i can't beleive i referenced the dreamcast. haha

you can summon SUHRIM OR SUHGURIM to kill a foe but the book highly recommends not doing it.,
