      OBE dangerous?

I told my mom about my attempt to WILD using SPs and she told me she was scared. She was aware about OBEs and she told me that some people couldn't get back in their body and were stock there, out of a body. I couldn't really base myself on her since she's not like us (or should I say "you" since I'm still a begginer even if I already experienced a FA as a child that I still remember and two Lucid dreams that lasted 2 seconds because I didn't know about lucid dreaming so it didn't really matter to me then). I also know that some of you have already experienced OBEs and wanted your opinion. Is it possible to stay stock out of your body and then your body dies because, well, the body doesn't have any spirit/mind (whatever you call it) left?

      Red face Um.

      How would that be possible?

Just think about it for a minute. Does she have any proof? =]

Mine thinks I'll seizure and that it could be some ooglyboogly stuff. Either way that is dumb. (No offense to your mom.)

Worst thing that can happen in WILDS is false awakening, which RARELY leads to peeing your pants...

If someone dies, how can they tell us that they couldn't get back to their body?

Also, (from what I understand) it is fairly difficult to find yourself out of body if you aren't trying.

Tell your mum the truth, that OBE's are just lucid false awakenings.
Theres no chance of being trapped outside the body.
But theres a chance you could get trapped inside your brain I suppose.
      Lucid Dreams:-
      MILD/DILD: 79
      WILD: 13
      DEILD:13

tell her NOTHING. false awakenings are not dangerous however I doubt that that will convince her- tell her you've stopped having those 'weird dreams'.
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

I find it hard to say that this is the truth.
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.
